So I'm assuming that at this point we still don't have an actual fe group for this trip? Or do we ? At what point in time do you decide it's too late to plan for one?

After talking with my family, we've decided not to participate in the fish extender group. We truly enjoyed doing it last year but not feeling the excitement this year. We are looking forward to just enjoying the ship this time.

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin. Other information you would like to share such as first names, ages of child participants, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one has still posted recently about a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to start the FE right in this thread.

There is certainly enough time to plan a FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS. If anyone is interested in doing this, feel free to contact me for some suggestions.

Does anyone know if someone has started a FE group. I have read thru this blog and I don't see any groups but several interest. I have never done a Disney Cruise before, so I am learning as I go. Any help or advise is welcomed.

My family will also be on this cruise and interested in doing the FE. We've been on several cruises, but not recently on Disney. We were on the Magic back in 2000 but there was no FE or door decorating back then, so I think this will be fun for the family to do. There will be 4 different families in our group staying in 5 staterooms with ages ranging from 6 to 72.
I didn't see an assigned person who is keeping a list. If no one steps up to keep a list, I will volunteer to keep track of the list in this post.

Please post the following information:
Stateroom # (if known), names of adults (gender), name of children (gender and age), favorite characters, any allergies, and if you are celebrating a special occasion.

Deadline to sign up will be May 1st. That will give everyone enough time to get things together.

Hi! I will be on this cruise with a few family members (my aunt and I in one room and our cousin and her husband in another), I can't speak for the rest of them but I am definitely interested in participating in the FE. I'm going to talk to my aunt tomorrow and if she's interested, I'll give our info but this seems like a lot of fun!

This will be our first family cruise and we have decided to surprise them with the trip! I'm very excited about the FE program!

We just booked our cruise this weekend, 1st time ever cruising and with Disney, so we are super excited! I have read about the FE and we are very interested in participating.

Stateroom# - don't know yet, we are in GTY status. I will update as soon as I get a number.
Adults - Ryan (m) and Jennifer (f) Mattson
Child #1 - Michael, 12 (m) - Mickey (obviously! - that's a quote), Donald, Goofy
Child #2 - Cassandra, aka Cassie, 8 (f) - loves Elsa, Anna, Olaf, and the Fab Five.

No allergies for any of us.

I have attached a PDF version of our cruise FE list as of today, 3/31 (I hope this is ok, moderators).

Please take a look to see if I got you listed and the information is correct. If there are any changes or you want to update any information, please PM (conversation) me so that I can update the list. I also did a "tally" column and I broke things down by families, adults, kids, etc. Hope that will help to make it easier to organize.

I will post updated lists on the 15th and end of each month up until the week before our cruise. I will also include the date the list was updated. This way if anyone wants to start getting their FE items together, you have an idea of the participants thus far.

Looking forward to the upcoming months!
