I am planning a trip for 10 of us...3 room reservations linked to the same MDE. Memory Maker is on my vacation package. Will pictures taken and scanned onto any of the 10 magic bands be combined into the one memory maker? Do I have to do anything to link everyone together or is it automatic? Or will others have to purchase it too?

Thanks!!

I linked up my parent's reservation and my friend's reservation and all members of their parties were all able to use their Magic Bands for pictures -- all showed up in my account. You should see everyone in your friends & family list and the people that control each of the other accounts will say something like "can view & download photos" next to their name.

If can see them all in MDE, they should all go to your account. If anyone in your party has their own MDE account that is linked to yours, they do need to click the box that allows you to view/share their photos. We had a party of 9 on our trip and it worked perfectly, although everyone was on my MDE and no one had their own account.

Great! That is what I was hoping. Thank you!

I am concerned about this too. We are a party of 9. Booked in two rooms on seperate accounts. Hubby, I, and 3 of our kids in one room, mother in law and our other 3 kids are in her room. The memory maker is linked to my account. I did the request to link our accounts on My Disney experience so now I can make dinner reservations and fast passes for everyone. (our fastpass window is not up yet so I haven't been able to confirm it will work.) I really want to make sure that our children staying in our mother in laws room get their ride photo pics linked to my account.

As long as you see everyone's names in your Friends and family list and anyone who has their own MDE account shows the words "can view and purchase my photos" everyone's magic bands should be captured when they ride or go to a standing photographer. You can check while on your trip or soon after and if any pictures you expect seem to be missing, you can use the online report form of call to describe the time/location/description of who should be in it and they're pretty good at finding missing shots.

My favorite MM tip is that if you do Jedi Training Academy, Enchanted Tales with Belle or Pirates League, you will get a card from the photographer with a code on it. You *can* enter this code into your photos section of MDE to upload all your photos, BUT I highly recommend that you instead take that card to a photopass shop (one near each park entrance and at DTD) and have them upload for you. Reason: the photographer takes tons of great pictures of ALL the participants in the show. If you upload yourself, you cannot pick and choose just your own family's pictures, you get all the strangers too. At the shops they can help you quickly select only your own photos. The web site is slow and its a real pain to have dozens of extra pictures slowing down your page.

We had a LARGE family group (30 people) and we all shared one Memory Maker. we each used our own magic bands and linked them at the end of the trip. Worked great! We had over 900 pictures.

Thank you for the awesome tip!

We went with a party of 12 in 2013 when it was still PhotoPass. My extended family hated the idea of creating a MDE account because they're not exactly computer savyv so they just asked for the Photopass cards from the photographer every time they got pictures taken. Then I entered the codes on the back to retrieve the photos
