We went to Tokyo, Kyoto, and Yokohama

November 2nd we flew to Japan from Newark airport. We got there around 3:00pm on Monday.



Got our luggage and got a bus to the hotel in Tokyo.









Got to the hotel and checked in and found our rooms, we were all pretty tired. My dad and I left my mom in our hotel room to go find some drinks. We walked a few blocks in both directions and found a Lawson's(loved those) and we picked up drinks to take back to the room. I got this.



We went back to the room and we all passed out pretty early after all the traveling
 
We were all up early at 4:00am the next morning. So we got up and got dressed and called my nannie(mom's mother) and we headed over to Tsukiji Fish Market. it was 5:00am and the line was already really long, but my dad and I decided to wait. Mom and Nannie headed back to the hotel and went to Denny's across the street for breakfast. Here are some pictures my dad took of us waiting in line.









We waited in like 4 hours which was long, but it was good to do just once. We met some people in line so got to talk with others while waiting and there was a few places selling small snacks so got a egg on a stick which was good. We finally got up near the window.







Sushi Dai has a set menu which means the chef picks the sushi, though you do pick the last one. I can't remember all the names of the Sushi, but here are pictures.

After eating we headed back to the hotel. We got back to the hotel and told my mom and nannie all about breakfast. We then all headed out to go to a temple my mom wanted to see. I took pictures while heading to the subway

So we headed to the subway to head to the temple. We had to learn the subway first though. We had my nanny(mom's mother) if we couldn't read anything. So we found our way and were off to the temple. We got to the area where the temple was near and walked to the temple and took pictures.











































 


we headed over to take****a street and looked around there. We were all getting tired, so we headed back to the hotel to rest a bit. Mom, Dad and I went back to our room while nanny went to hers. My dad and I then were told to go check out menus at a few places to see where we would go for dinner. So off we went to do that. We looked at the menus at three different places and then we went back and told my mom. We all decided on Denny's for dinner. I can't5 remember what everyone else had, but I had omurice. After dinner we all headed back to the hotel. Nanny and mom called it a night, but my dad and I headed out to see the Apple store and walk around a little. we got semi lost as well. and the gps on our phones was confusing at times. So here's the story. We decided to walk a little past the Apple store so we walked past, we both were tired(dad was more tired then myself) so we decided to find a Lawson's to get some drinks and a snack. So we got the the street where our hotel was on and grabbed the drinks and snacks, but we ended up turning the wrong way when leave Lawsons so we walked far in a different direction then our hotel. When we figured this out we back tracked to the Apple store and then we were finally on our way back to the hotel. Got back to the room and I took a shower and then passed out while I think my dad looked at maps because we didn't want to get lost while going to Disney Sea.
 


I guess waiting on line for sushi is getting you prepared to wait on lines at Disney. Did you like your sushi? How did it compare to what you can get back home (wherever that is)?

The Sushi was amazing. If you have time and can go and don't mind waiting I say wait in line. The Sushi wasn't that much better then here in NJ(Mitsuwa) but it was good sushi and even though we waited 4 hours it's a one time thing that I wanted to do and it was good
 
Today my dad and I were headed to Disney Tokyo Sea. We weren't only going to the one park since we only had one day. We headed to Denny's( I highly recommend trying if in Japan) for breakfast. It was across from our hotel.

headed back to the hotel.



Dad went to get us some money to make sure we had enough while I got ready. Once he was back we left my mom who was staying with my nannie since they both aren't as big of Disney fans like my dad and I. So we left and headed to the train station. We got to train station to Disney Area.







We then took the monorail to the park.



















 
The crowds don't look that intense in your photos (great pics by the way!) what time were the Toy Story Mania ones taken?
 
Ah, I enjoyed my time there in August too. I stayed at the same hotel and ate at the same Denny's.

no prob, more pictures coming. The hotel was good, actually glad we stayed there rather then Disney hotel. I could do more things in Tokyo that way. Like get up first day at 4:00am to wait hours for Sushi lol. And the Denny's was pretty good breakfast.
 
Next I wanted to buy a popcorn bucket. Can't remember what flavor I got, but it was good. And then we walked around again.































We rode a ride at this point, can't remember the name. Then we walked around a little more.

















 
We were getting hungry so we walked around and decided where we wanted to eat.











We decided on this place that had curry and it was amazingly good.

After lunch I wanted to get some curry flavored popcorn, so we went and got that and then walked around some more.













Dad wanted some popcorn, that was a different flavor, so he stopped and got some.

I got in trouble for having my gopro pole out, I did see others with selfie poles so not sure why they could have theirs and I couldn't, but it was ok I understand. I try not to get in people's way.

We took a few more pictures





we then did some shopping. I bought the kitty that is duffy's friend for a friend of mine daughter. I got a pin for Frank and then I got myself a few little things. When checking out the girl ringing us up gave us a million bags which is awesome since I do save ones I might not have. We walked around some more taking pictures.
