Final Bill Question

We are going on the Disney Dream in April. We have never cruised before, and I am trying to plan for extra expenses. I know drinks and souvenirs etc. cost extra. Would anybody mind telling me what their onboard expenses were (the final amount your credit card was charged?) Just trying to get a feel for what people spend once they are on the ship. Thanks!

Ours are always very low, in fact we bought some drinks to use up our on board credit. I think you will find it varies a lot, depends on how much you drink, number of shore excursions, and how many souvenirs you purchase. Also if you have onboard credit that will cut down on your bill at the end. Last time our biggest charge was the deposit for another cruise:)

We have always prepaid our tips but that could be on your bill if you haven't.
Pictures, shore excursions, laundry room charges and anything not included in room service if you use it.
Eta: Internet packages if you choose to. Our bills have been in the $200-$400 range without tips.

Ours was 750$Ish
168$for gratuities
50$ palo dinner
223$ rainforest couples
320$ alcohol and coffee drinks
No souvenirs or excursions
We did book 2 private excursions which totaled 350$
This is for 2 adults

Since you are on the Dream you should be on a 3 or 4 day cruise.
Out of 8 cruises, 6 have been 3 or 4 days for us.
Our bill against the CC has run between $200 and $400.
Now we do not do the additional things like booking excursions through DCL, bingo, and tastings.
We do do Palo, tips, buy something in the shops, and rent floats at CC.

Our bill from our 3 night was about $600, but we ended up getting sucked into the spa package they offered the first day (ended up being about $300). The rest was for alcohol and souvenirs. I'd recommend prepaying your gratuities, this way you don't have to worry about them being on your final bill.

This really depends on you but here is an idea of our spending on past cruises. I usually prepay gratuities.

5 night 2A 2K
Our final bill was maybe $100 and it included
a couple of pics
light up glasses from pirate night (4)
pirate swords (2)

3 night 2A
a few hundred dollars
gratuities ($72)
mixology ($30)
alcohol
Palo dinner ($50 plus tip)

4 night 2A 2K
$400-$500
Palo brunch and dinner ($100 plus tip)
Exotic Rasul ($89-I think)
bikes on CC
alcohol
coffee/smoothies

How do you prepay gratuities?
