Cabana Bay - cab ride to Walgreens/CVS?

We're using Universal for hotel transfers from MCO, so we won't have a car.

Debating between paying the driver to stop at a drug store for pickup of some supplies or just heading out on our own later.

Any one know what this would cost (roughly) for a cab ride?

also, are the fridges at Cabana Bay (we are in a family suite) cold enough to store milk?

Fridges are fine to store milk. There is a drug store behind Portofino. Probably only cost around $5-$7 bucks. You could even take the bus to the parking structure and then walk to the drug store.

Thanks Damo! that helps. If we can store milk, then I think we'll make the stop. They told me it was a half-hour drive from MCO to Cabana BAy, and I was worried we were out in the middle of nowhere.

I can handle $10 to 14 for cab fare, if we need to restock!

i did a return from walgreens to rpr and it was $5 + tip

walked there and cab back due to lugging water.

There is a walmart down the street maybe 5 or 10 min drive.
