First day question

So we leave in a few days. Our first day, I expect we'll get to Cabana bay around lunch time, change into our summer clothes : )

... and then head to the parks.

All I really want to accomplish for the first day is to ride Hogwarts express, see diagon alley, and go to Ollivanders so the kids can get their wands.

My understanding is that we go to Universal Studios right? (not IOA). Is that correct? I believe this is where we find King's Cross station. Now my movie knowledge is a little sketchy, but this is also where we find Diagon Alley? Is that something we visit before we go to King's Cross? Or do we find Diagon Alley in IOA after we've ridden Hogwarts Express?

Also, we bought our tickets through Universal. I have my E-travel document. Where and how do we get our park tickets? Can I do that through Cabana Bay? What about the coupon book, will I get that through Cabana bay?

If you want to ride Hogwarts Express first, go to IOA. Ride HE and it will drop you off at King's Cross Station in Diagon Alley at Universal Studios.

... or you could start in Universal Studios and ride HE both ways to end up back where you started.

Diagon alley , the London waterfront and Kings Cross Station are at the Studios. Hosmeade village, Hogsmeade train station and Hogwarts are at IOA.

And to add to this, Ollivander's has locations in both Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade.

Thanks! Based on the replies, we will start off at US. I'd like them to go to Ollivanders and get their wands before seeing Hogwarts (just like in the movie!).

Try Orlando Insider for some good maps. They have rides and attractions overlaid on Google Earth.
