Has anyone dined here recently? I'm wondering if they have the packaged grapes, apples and carrots for kids meals? My son is T1 Diabetic and we need to carb count everything and the only time I have accurate information is at quick service locations. I've inquired with special diets and spoken to so many people about this but simply, Disney will not give carb counts on any meals. I can't recall ever seeing this quick service restaurant before and wonder if it's similar to all the other food courts. I couldn't find any photos or information through the search. Thanks for your help.

It's not a food court. It's very small compared to a food court at one of the mod resorts, but similar foods. We've gotten carrots and apple sauce. Did not see the grapes, but if they have the tub of grapes in the fridge, then you can ask them for it. They've been very good to us about substituting things.

And if they don't have what you want, it's easy enough to go to the Contempo Cafe.

We dined here in August and they do have packaged grapes as a side option to kids meals. Not sure if this helps?

Thanks for your response. Is this like the Boardwalk pool where everything is pre made and sitting around? All Ears lists this as open 24 hours as well, is that accurate? Where is it at the GF?

No, not everything is premade. Sone stuff is in coolers, but they have a full functioning grill for fresh made items. I don't know if the grill is available 24 hours, but I know it's open most people's waking hours.

Location - it's about as far from the villas as you can get (boat dock). It's part of the main building, but way around the furthest corner and only accessible from the outside (you can't get to it from within the main building). Just hug the outside of the main building and you'll eventually get there.

They have the regular CS kids sides and those are prepackaged. They take your order and if anything is something cooked at the grill, they will give you a number and then you pay and they will either call your number or bring the food to your table- we have had it both ways so it might depend on the time or the staffing on which they do.

Just returned. We did get packaged grapes in a kid's meal (for my wife). Regarding location, I concur it is a bit of a hike from the Villas. I was staying on the end closest to Lagoon (room 1414) and could take the stairwell right down to the walkway. From that end of the Villas it was just about 1/3rd farther to go the other direction and walk to Captain Cook's at the Poly. So if you are interested in a different selection (as they do get old quickly) you could also head that way. Only did that once though as the construction going on at the Poly pool limited the view which I much enjoyed.

If you call WDW and talk to somone about dietary concerns they will give you the information before you go to help you plan. My husband is diabetic and I was able to get the info we needed to eat just about anywhere he wanted. There is a special person you talk to, I am at work and do not have it, but it can be done. I would just google it or go to the Dining forum and ask.
