Universal Military Ticket Question

Hello! In June we are visiting Orlando primarily for a Navy ship reunion but will be enjoying the parks as well.

On the Universal day the retired military member is participating in ship reunion activities and my son and I are visiting Universal.

My question is about ID check / ticket activation. We've been told to take our tickets right to the turnstiles. At the Universal turnstile will they want the military personnel and their ID? It seems like we have the actual ticket and that it may not need activation???? Any feedback is appreciated.

On our other park days (Disney / Legoland) we will be together for activation / id check so I'm not concerned with those days. It is just Universal I want to clarify the process for. Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to provide.

If your tickets are simply tickets bought at a discount at the ITT office, I've used them, and never had to show id. I always have my id on me though, as unlike Salute tickets for Disney, I don't think Universal has tickets like that. Only time I have to show ID and give personal information is the Disney Military Salute tickets. I buy tickets for Universal and other places at the ITT office, and other than the Salute, I've never been asked for ID.

Have a great time.
