With a heads up from a friend to some pretty nicely priced airfares we're booked in to fly out on United on Dec 10.

No real itinerary yet, but DS's birthday will be celebrated at Disneyland :cake:

Finally I have something set to look forward to and plan :Pinkbounc

Depart Melb 10/12 and return 29/12.

Qantas were pretty pricey compared to what was found for me.

So travelling on the new dreamliner, this'll be interesting :teeth:

oh ok, I am looking for Dec but returning Jan, have to wait a bit longer.......
Still haven't decided what I am doing yet, have booked my Disney cruise, have my money, but the rest , not sure yet

Trying to decide on an itinerary.

We're hitting Carlsbad first up with some outlet shopping and Legoland then no idea!

Trying to find anything I can that I need to pay in USD before the butt falls out of the dollar even more than it already has :scared:

Legoland, Disneyland, Vegas and Palm Springs.
I'd love to do S.F but time just won't allow it and it'll be damn cold there LOL

But it snows in P.S so we're thinking there for Christmas :santa:

Sounds great. Those are your go-to places as well, right?

Enjoy the planning.

I'm being a procrastinator!

I can't even decide what hotel to stay at!

The only firm plans we have are for DS's birthday.

Roll on!

Mummy 23 kids. Where u off too? Anaheim or WDW?
How much were your flights for that travel period?
we are going to disneyland now, we paid $9771 from flight centre for family of 5 (me, dh, dd18, ds12, dd11). we were going to go to orlando but it was abit too much

Well Disneyland will be great, Xmas & its the 60th Birthday.
We are having 4 days at DL on the way to Orlando, we have been twice before, but never saw Carsland, also kids love some of the other ride there that are not at WDW.
I think we will get a 3 day pass, we will arrive 16th Dec so before you.
Exciting, though I hope I can handle the crowds lol

lol lucky you, yes we planned to do that too, but it was out of our budget and I know the kids dont mind going to disneyland again. We will be doing universal studio this time too. I know (crowds) but how nice would Disneyland be at christmas. We are there for 2 weeks so we will spread it out abit for after xmas I think

we didn't want to miss out on the 60th either, just booked departing 8th Dec - Returning 11th Jan !! we won't probably get to DL until right on new years, but hope to spend the last 11 days there to enjoy the decorations still up and hopefully crowds getting smaller bit by bit. But very excited. Qantas had some great fares that kept changing. Although pretty happy at $1400 each.

Woohoo

Booked airfare today

1 freebie thanks velocity
Plus 2 for 3200

Dec 17th- jan 19th

Now to organise itinerary

Vegas, nyc, wdw, universal, New Orleans, Chicago or Dallas, and Anaheim

Can't wait to share

I finally have something booked!
Car hire was secured last night with the little jump in the value of our $ so i've saved a little been comparing it to other quotes i've done.

I don't even know where to start!

Is it just me or have accommodation prices increased a lot?
