Some of the Alesund and Bergen port adventures were posted today. Called DCL and they said they are still working on more, plus pricing.

SO excited to be going on this cruise. I have wanted to see Norway and its' fjords since I was a child. Stayed up until 3:00 a.m. last night reviewing the Port Adventures. I'm coming into Copenhagen a couple of days early to explore. I've only been there once for an overnight between flights. I booked my own hotel (saving a lot over the DCL options and getting a better quality hotel) based on an exhaustive investigation of TripAdvisor. Did anyone else do the same?

Looking forward to the cruise. Please count us in for the fish extender group (with kids) is there a new way to sign up or some new rule?

I noticed that there are no excursions posted for Molde or Olden. Has anyone heard if there are more excursions to be posted? I know that the Platinum CC members start booking next week. And, did anyone notice the price for the Elsa and Anna excursion? Wow. And, I bet it sells out.

I'll organise the FE groups dependent on the input of participants. Will absolutely make seperate groups if there are too many. Someone earlier floated the idea of an Adults only group for those without kids. Will have to wait and seen how big the group gets. ATM it seems like most people have opted for the 11 day over the 9 day for the Iceland stops.
We are a group of 6 with two kids, four adults. We absolutely LOVE doing FE's! Has the FE sign up list started, and where's the link?
Thanks,
Susan

Wow… we have so many people already :good vibes

I know this is kinda early but I thought I would ask. Is anyone interested in doing a FE? My husband and I had such a great time with it last time. Though being that we will have to fly home from Norway I think we might want to make some limitations on gift size and quantity. I would sure hate to have to leave something behind due to suitcase being too full

If people are interested I do not mind heading up the group :surfweb:

This is our first Disney Cruise (two adults and one 3 year old) - the FE sounds like fun! We would love to be included.

Do you know where the link to sign up for the FE is? I'd love to sign up :)

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin. Other information you would like to share such as first names, ages of child participants, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one has posted recently about a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to start the FE right in this thread.

There is certainly plenty of time to plan a FE for this cruise. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS. If anyone is interested in doing this, feel free to contact me for some suggestions.

2 adults (Jason & Jannae) - We don't have do participate if it's easier...just know the kids would be thrilled!

Hi Everyone! This is our first time jumping into fish extenders but our 5th Disney Cruise!
We are a Family of 4 from Tampa.
Traveling with sons 7 & 11.

Looking forward to the amazing experience of Norway! Please include us in the FE and any instructions,

Thanks!

Well, it only took a couple of weeks, but I have finally finalized my list of desired port adventures. Anyone else got yours picked out? Saturday is coming up fast!

I have picked out all of my excursions too.....but (sigh)...I won't be gold until after this cruise. I'm freaking out that one or more my picks will be gone by the 22nd. It stinks to be silver.

This will be #3 for us on DCL. I spent the summer between my Jr and Sr yrs of high school less than 10 mi from Olden. I cannot wait to show my husband, sons (10) and (7) this area that changed my life. My great-grandparents emigrated from the Gudbrandsdal valley, and even though Lillehammer is not on the itinerary, I can't imagine a better way to introduce my children to Norway.

We have a lot to celebrate on the trip as our youngest turns 8 and 2 days later is our 15th anniversary!

We are interested in the FE, but have never done them before. We are planning on getting into Copenhagen a few days early as it looks like an amazing place to explore.

Hi! We are a family traveling with two boys 11 & 7 from Tampa, FL. This will be our 5th Disney cruise. I'm very happy to see a family with some boys the same age as mine! I was getting a little worried that this cruise would be a little girl heavy with the whole Frozen phenom going on.

I completely understand the waiting part of being silver. This is only my second gold cruise. If you didn't already, I'd suggest prioritizing your excursions by most to least desired. Then you can hop on the website prepared. That's what I did.

I have gone through my list and ranked them in order of importance. Do you know of any particular port or excursion that I should prioritize? We mostly go to the Caribbean.....so excursions are never something that I am anxious to book. Refresh my memory.... I need to log on and register first and then book my port adventures right? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the more exciting limited adventures are not the ones we are shooting for since I'm traveling with DS 7 & DS 11, and we don't make most of the age cut offs.

Last weekend we sat down as a family and went through what we wanted to do. Have it all mapped out (or so we think). I am with Stitch1313 ready to go for Saturday. Don't worry lola1972 , maybe the times you want might be taken but I don't think they will all be sold out.

Is anyone doing the Frozen one in Alsuend? Not us, price is just way too high for that experience.

I am traveling with 1 DS tween and one DS 7 going on 12. They would rather spend a day with me at Nordstrom in the shoe department than to be caught with Elsa & Anna. It's funny...they really enjoyed Frozen when it first came out, but once "Let It Go" became the anthem for every adorable, pink sparkly girl under the age of 12 they quickly renounced it in fear of perhaps having to turn in their man cards. When the prices were announced, it was clear we would not be participating, even tho I thought it sounded really cool. Let me know what you booked! I'm so excited to hear about it!

Anybody else here stalking the DCL website for excursions? I've been checking every minute since midnight. Still not open for booking.
