Hi all
We are planning our meals for September as there is quite a few of us going. I was just wondering if anyone has eaten at plaza gardens restaurant recently? We haven't eaten here in a few years and was wondering what type of food they now serve?
Also was thinking of restaurant de stars what type of food is served here?
If you had the choice which would you do?

Thanks guys xx

In the past I've always said I preferred RDS but last visit in October to RDS was dreadful, very little choice, I ended up with just salad and bread roll for starter, no main course, but there was a nice selection of desserts, hot drinks are no longer included at RDS either. Might just have been a one off but won't rush back there :( Last ate at PG in 2013 and in fact ate there twice that trip as the family enjoyed it so much. :)

We ate at Plaza Gardens in February half term for lunch and loved it. Lots of different salads, cold meats for starter, carvery ham, potatoes, casseroles, pasta for mains, pancakes and lots of choice of cakes for desert and a selection of cheeses. They also had kids chicken nuggets, pizza, meatballs. The price includes a refillable drink and there is bread and fruit aswell. Enjoy :thumbsup2

Thanks for your replies.
We have eaten in plaza gardens a few times before and always enjoyed it. I'm thinking maybe sticking with plaza gardens might be the option as we know we enjoy it and a couple of people in our party are a little fussy eaters. It sounds like it hasn't changed all that much. Plus with refillable drinks/ buffet option is a good idea for us especially with the kids.
Thanks again x

I ate at Restaurant de Stars last week and really enjoyed my meal. It was one of the better meals I had! My reservation was for 2;15pm - and they were struggling to put enough food out - it was very busy but I found a lot to enjoy.
lovely green salad, lots of cheeses including a nice blue and brie and emmental, for mains a gorgeous pork roast with gravy, spinach tortellini, lovely fish and pilav, beef, german sausages, and for desserts some mouses and jellies - I'll admit the desserts were picked over but by that time I was so full, I didn't want much else. I would definitely book again!
