Harambe Nights return?

Has anyone heard anything about having Harambe Nights again this year? We absolutely loved the event last year, and are really hoping it comes back for our June trip.

No word, it was a popular event I'm surprised nothing has been announced.

It was very popular, expensive (of course), and unlike some of the other nighttime events...very well-reviewed. Hard to imagine team not bringing them back. I guess the only thing could be if any of the current construction projects poses a logistical problem somehow.

But it's in an area that doesn't have any construction right now. And there was construction going on when they held it last year.

It was announced in early May last year.

Thanks! We couldn't remember when we booked last year. We are debating between doing this again if offered or a Wishes fireworks cruise for our anniversary/DH's birthday.

I remember hearing rumors that they were going to do away with the celebrity narrator because many felt it wasn't really necessary.

DAK is scheduled to close at 5pm most Saturdays this summer. I'm assuming this is to bring the event back.

I loved the event last year, but totally agree that there isn't really a need for the guest narrators.

We really enjoyed seeing the celebrity guest narrator! We saw Michael Beach and he did a fantastic job. I noticed on previous threads about Harambe Nights that a lot of people weren't familiar with a lot of the celebrity narrators. We would have loved to have seen Viola Davis, she's one of our favorite actresses but we already had our trip scheduled when the event was announced so I scheduled for the only Saturday we would be there. Good times!
