Ohana or Crystal Palace for breakfast. Which would you choose, and why?

I am not a big breakfast eater and at home it's usually just a bowl of Cheerios and almond milk. But with that said, I do enjoy the breakfast at both Ohana and Crystal Palace. The only thing I don't like about Ohana is that it seems every time we go there whether it's dinner or breakfast, we are seated so late past our ADR time. As for Crystal Palace; it is my favorite breakfast restaurant in the MK. The selection is very large, the food is replenished and hot and the characters are very good as well. Also I will admit I am addicted to the Breakfast Lasagna. I guess between the two it would be Crystal Palace.

It's a tough call, although I love the experience at Ohana I would go with CP for the food. Ohana is really good and I like that it comes out family style but it's the typical breakfast fare, but I do love me some mickey waffles

We have been to both, and I will have to say I enjoy Ohana better. We did not go on our last trip, and I missed it! For a later AM breakfast, I think it is more relaxed- no rushing to the buffet. I think the Ohana characters are some of the most interactive we have experienced at a character meal.

With the gluten-free diet, I think you will have some options either place- eggs, fruit, and breakfast meats are pretty universal. (My father is dairy-free, so he often gets GF/DF/vegan options and has had no issue either place- they usually have some Udi’s products or something similar on hand.)

Okay, okay, you all convinced me. I'll keep my CP reservation, and just keep trying for an earlier time! :)

Crystal Palace, no contest. Especially if you can get an 8am ADR on a 9am opening day. We've been there 5 times now... or 6? Whatever- one of my favorites for sure. I would recommend it to anyone.

We have been to O'hana twice and both times were very long waits- 30 min for breakfast and over an hour for dinner. Breakfast wasn't bad and our server was very nice- that was June 2014. Dinner was the worst experience I've ever had at Disney- that was Oct. 2009.

OP, yes, since you are on a GF diet, I'd definitely go with Crystal Palace. You'd have more options there. Plus the chefs at CP are very good with allergies from what I hear.

Well, after many ressie changes, and weighing pros and cons, & our trip now 11 days away, with some luck, I was able to get early reservations at both Ohana & Crystal Palace, so we're going to do both! Crystal Palace on Monday morning, and Ohana Friday morning! Yay!

'Ohana, food is much better. The Character interaction is about the same at both places, but CP had Pooh and gang. I would give CP the slight advantage for LOCATION.
