Blue Bayou F! Package

if somebody has bad knees/hips and can't easily sit on the ground (cushion or not) is there somewhere they can stand & 'lean' in the viewing area?

Someone posted on here that usually if you stay towards the very back you are able to stand and or have a stroller. So I think there is an option

Not much in the way of leaning because the roped walkway is in the immediate back of the section, so the wall you could lean on is part of the walkway. Standing in the back of the section, no problem, but all you would have at your back is a non-supportive rope. You could ask the CM if you could enter the walkway to lean on the wall (explain your bad knees/back) during the show and see what they say. I don't know if it is a fire code/etc. that they have to keep these clear. The answer might be cast member dependent.

We were front row, so I stood and leaned against the front rail until we were asked to be seated by a CM prior to show start.

We had plenty of room to stretch out our legs, so if you had family to help with the getting up and down, you should be OK (cushion helps).

Does anyone know if the Louisiana Lemonade is included with the F! dinner package? I have no problem paying an upcharge if it is not but it would be nice to know ahead of time.

If you have early Fantasmic can you still stay there to watch the fireworks? What happens if they cancel Fantasmic due to weather?

I would be interested in this too if anyone knows ?

I have read conflicting reports about whether a drink is included at all.

Im losing my mind.....I'm at the 60-day window, got up super early this AM to book Blue Bayou for F!.....error after error after error. I called Disney Dining on the stroke of 7 Pacific (their opening time) and after a bit of investigation she told me the restaurant hadn't uploaded their table inventory yet and just to keep checking.....so I'm checking. And checking. Aaaaaaand.....checking. Nada yet.....

Same problem!!!! Its frustrating!

They didn't start booking the Fantasmic dining packages until 2 weeks after my 60 day window opened...patience is definitely required.

Well that's not helpful lol! I don't want to miss a decent time slot and don't have all day everyday to be checking availability HUGE bummer =(

Not that I'm glad someone else is experiencing same thing I am....but OMGGGGG this is driving me ballistic.

We were just there and pop/soda was included, but we would have had to pay extra for the lemonade. We bought it for our kids and they loved it. My H and stuck with the included soda. We loved BB. We checked in about 25 minutes early from our reservation time and requested waterside. It was worth it and we got in a little past our original time.

Thanks StellaD! I love the Louisiana Lemonade so I think I will just suck it up and pay the extra.

I was there last Tuesday for the F! package. Reservation was at 4:40. I was going to check in at least 15 minutes early to request waterside, but I forgot about the parade going on, and by the time I got through the crowds I was right on time. I requested waterside, was told "40 minute wait" and given a pager. I was told I could only go as far as the train station and the umbrella by the opening of the alley, and NOT to get on any rides. They called me after only 25 minutes.

The menu is not the same as the regular menu; it is a prix fixe with your choice of 3 first courses (gumbo, salad, shrimp cocktail), 4-5 main courses, and 3 dessert choices. Here's a link from AllEars: http://allears.net/dlr/din/menu/men_baydf.htm . I am gluten free due to intolerance, so they were pretty accommodating about letting me have what was possible for me off the regular menu. That was fine, but for first course I could only have the salad, and for dessert I could only have the creme brulee or a scoop of ice cream, not my favorite. Too bad they don't at least offer a flourless chocolate torte, GF brownie, or a chocolate mousse; those are easy to do.

The three starters you listed are the only three starters on the menu, so at least that part of the menu is the same. I looked at the menu on the Allears.net link and it has the same entrees listed as the current Blue Bayou non-F! dining package menu. Do you happen to remember which entrees were (or were not) on the F! dining package menu?
