Poly Bungalow Thoughts

Not that I really wanted to see my picture this big, but we took this just to show how close the bungalows were to the Ferry.

Played with the points charts on this for the first time today. If I desire to stay at Poly it will be on cash these are very over priced IMHO and for the majority of beds being pullouts, forget it! I cannot justify it no matter how I try. For the price I can visit Bora Bora and not have Disney Ferry interference!

So, you are on the ferry in the picture?

I would like to stay in a bungalow, but honestly, to me, the whole Poly DVC scenario does not make sense. I would not put 4-5 adults in 1 studio, and connecting studios are not guaranteed. When I am not with DH, we often travel with others. We have booked a studio for DH & myself in August, but that may very well be our only stay.

Yes, we were on the Ferry in the picture. There were two running that day (President's day weekend). I couldn't imagine everyone looking right in so easily--not to mention the ships' horns.
What's really hard to see in those pictures are the plunge pools. They looked more like large hot tubs. And again-no privacy. For that many points, we will skip it.

I believe Tikiman mentioned they Something about plans for vegetation to give the bungalows more privacy from the ferries. Not sure if this is still part of the construction plan or if it was cut.

Why do u think they didn't put 2 regular beds in 2nd bedroom?

2 regular beds, do you mean double beds like at the values? I doubt if there is room for two doubles, two twins maybe. The promotional material shows that the bungalow is set up for a multi-generational family group. One set of adults in each bedroom and kids in the living room and on both murphy bed in each bedroom.

Just wierd only one like that. And can only fit 1 kid in Murphy as opposed to 2 in a real bed
