Disney with 2 toddlers. What do you carry on the parks and how?

(I posted this on Theme Park Strategies board, but this is probably a more appropriate board to ask).

Hubby and I traveling with DS5 and DD2. I'm thinking of taking our double stroller because it's worked very well for us at home. It allows them both to nap if they want to, and I think it would be easier to handle for parent swapping than if we took 2 umbrellas.

1) We are driving so we won't be taking the buses. Is there any other possible concerns I might have with this? Like the monorail to get from parking to MK, or taking the train within MK?

2) Also, I would like to hear from other parents with 2 toddlers on what things they brought with them to the park (a park-packing list of sorts :-)). DD2 is potty-training now and I'm pretty confident she will be fully potty-trained by the time of our trip in April, so I'll be glad not to have to carry any diapers.

3) How did you carry everything? Did the parents carry backpacks? Did you attach any sort of bag/sling to the stroller to carry stuff? Was the stroller storage enough?

When we go to disney (or any vacation lately) we tend to rent a stroller rather than take our own. Cheap and much easier than transporting, and we dont have to worry about fitting it into the rental car with all our luggage. Ive used kingdom strollers twice with good results. Driving is a good idea. YOu can always go back to the car for stuff if you need it. I packed very strategically. All my things fit under the stroller, and my husband had a backpack. Basically what we needed were: sippy cups, diapers/wipes (consider pullups for your 2 year old then you dont have to worry about accidents?), easy snack items, sun block, hats and glasses. Also a zip lock bag with a complete outfit change for each kid. OH, and I had another zip lock with swimsuits just in case, but not every day. I find I overpack the first day and weed things out easily over time. If it's going to be hot throw in some juice boxes, I know it's not the healthiest, but mine will suck them down as a treat and I dont have to worry as much about dehydration! We've done two trips with the twins, first at 15months, then 2.5, and are planning one for shortly after they turn 3. Toddlers at DIsney is so much fun. They just love everything.

My kids are the same age. We always go with our citymini. The easy foldup and light weight is very important. If monorail is crowded, they will ask you to fold up. Def have to on the MK train, or leave it somewhere.

DD2 was also potty trained (except at nap and night) by the time we went. She regressed. Would not go potty when everyone else was going, then ended up peeing her pants :) After the first day, she was in diapers. I think with the excitement and the crowded bathrooms, she didn't want to deal with going potty.

We carry 1 backpack - diapers, change of cloths for both, lots of wipes, small snacks, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, ipad mini, cell phone charger + portable charger.

Hot months - insulated sippy, insulated lunch box/bag, towel if we're going to let them get wet.

If your double can take it, a nice big carabiner(sp?) from home depot is helpful for carrying extra bags.

We used a double stroller and one backpack. We tried 2 small umbrella strollers ONCE and wished we had the bigger stroller the entire time. The only advantage was the ease on the parking trams. But even with that....would opt for the larger stroller every time. The ease of the kids being able to nap, the trays/cup holders, the no tipping over cause it had extra weight on the handles all were important to us. Grab a couple of the HUGE carabineers from Walmart or Home Depot to hold all the extra junk and a cheap poncho from the dollar store to cover it up when weather looks threatening. Good luck!
