what happened to tuscany?

Huh. That's a good question. Maybe no one signed up for it? That would be a shame.

Dreams Unlimited still has all the info on their site like they're still booking it.

My area had a AAA Travel Marketplace on Saturday and I asked one of the Disney reps about it. I was told the itinerary was (already) discontinued, but that the new Spain itinerary was still available.

Dang. It was really a good idea. I hope nothing happens to Spain. Why do they release these abd's mid season? Seems like most people would have already made their plans for a trip like this.

I totally agree with this. It just doesn't make sense...

To tell you the truth the Tuscany trip seems like it appeal to people who have already traveled to Italy a few times and seen "the biggies" on the tourist circuit and graduated to a more relaxed, country trip. With so many places to travel with your family I would not put Tuscany high on our list right now in our lives. The trip did seem relaxing but when I read that one of the highlights was a meal in Gordon Ramsey's restaurant. So many authentic Italian places and I for one would not want to eat in such a place while in Tuscany. But Spain does sound very inviting since we have traveled to Spain a few times but have not gone to Madrid yet.

That's a really interesting perspective, carpenta. It never really occurred to me, but you make a lot of sense!

Yes, but the Tuscany trip was priced $600 - $2000 per person less (except for the adults only trips).

That's bizarre -I wouldn't travel to Tuscany for that, or maybe anywhere. Maybe Dario Cecchini was busy?
