Hi everyone!

Just wondering if we are paying for an adult dining plan for our 10 year old? Because i read it says 3-9 for children. If so, then we will be able to order from either the child or adult menu for her ? For both QS and TS? TIA!

Yes. 10 is a Disney adult when on the DDP. WE found that it worked out okay for us because if our DGD wanted something on the children's menu we just paid OOP for her, and then used her credit elsewhere. to be honest, she used her credits more often then not. WE had always let her order what she wanted anyway, so it was fine. This time she was "free" because we had free dining. In that circumstance Free dining was a btte deal than the RO discount because of the price of the plan for her.

TY!! We are on the regular dining plan not the deluxe. Does that matter? We have one snack, one CS, one TS per day i was told.

No. She is a Disney Adult and since you purchaced her plan, the credits are your to use as you see fit as long as they are used withon your own party. You cannto give them to someone not on the DDP. We found that the CS credits were the best valuse for her because she and I tended to share meals. When she was a "Child", her Mom woudl sometimes order an adult meal for her and Mom would have the kids meal. LOL!

OK, great TY! That is a great idea, we will probably share a few lunches at CS together.

Go to allears.net and check out the menus. SOme of those CS meals are really large wnough to share. Fr instance, there are meals at Cosmic Rays that my husband and I shared at lunchtime, and that was plenty, even with his big appetite. WE like breakfast while on vacation, so we often shared a CS breakfast, and then CS lunch. We enjoy snacks during the day, so if we did nto over eat at lunchtime, we could have our treat in the afternoon.

If you check out the menus you can see how best to use your cedits, and as I said, splitting those meals can make your credits go further, especailly if you schedule signature dining. You can have a decent dinner on CS, and save a TS credit for a special meal.
