questions about Treehouse Villas

I am 40 days away from a week at THV with 8 of us and I have some questions:

1) we are flying red-eye from Los Angeles and arrive on day of check in early in the morning. I've done this many times and just left my luggage with the front desk while we went and played. Is there a Lobby/check in area at THV to leave my luggage if the villa isnt ready or do we have to leave it at SSR?

2) Can we request a certain location? ex: by the water, away from everything, etc? what location do you recommend.

3) the room with the bunk beds......is there enough room on the floor for an air mattress?

thanks in advance!!!

There is no separate check-in area for THV. You check-in at SSR and use that location's Bell Services. THV is just a part of SSR.

If you intend to use the bus system to the parks, ask to be close to the path that leads to the Grandstands section in SSR. This way you can walk over to the Grandstands and get a direct bus to the parks and avoid the internal buses from the treehouses over to SSR.

There is not alot of floor space. If it fits it will take all the room in front on the door and bunkbeds.

I requested canal view, close to the South bus stop and ended up in 7030 which was perfect. Right by the path to Grandstand, not too far from the boat dock to DTD, and not far from the THV pool and hot tub.

thanks for all of the great responses!! and what about room for an air mattress in the bunk bed room? is there enough room?

It will be tight, and I'm not sure you can open or close the door to the bunk room. Plus if you have adults in the bunks, they need to be careful about bumping their heads when they sit up.

We had a single air mattress in the bunk room, no problem. We put it near the windows. I don't think a double would work.

Prior to keeping an air mattress in our owner's locker, we laid out the sofa cushions on the floor of the bunk room over by the windows. I agree that there should be enough room for a single air mattress.
