Thoughts on 1400 Loop?

We are going to The Fort for the first time April 12-19. I requested loop 1400 because it looks like it's pretty close to the pool and sing along area. I know my little ones will want to go to the campfire and movie a few times. And my teens will enjoy the pool and other stuff in that area. I tend to overthink things and I'm second guessing myself now. We will be using the comfort station to shower in the evenings and I'm wondering how crowded it is in the 1400 loop? Is there a better loop in your opinion?? Thanks! :)

For us it's too busy and loud because it's so close to everything. I'd ask for 600, close but not too close.

Did the 1400 loop in November. Initially was on Little Bear Loop but was able to upgrade to site 1446 on the outside loop. I agree with Denise, it was a loud loop and really close together. Nice and easy to get to the outdoor movie and sing along though.

We have stayed in the 1400 loop twice, once in the Little Bear Path (inner) site 1451 and last December in the Big Bear Path (outer) site 1419 and we were pleased with both. I didn't really notice more noise than in other loops we've stayed. But I suppose the noise really depends on a lot of factors. If I had a complaint about the 1400 loop it would be the canal behind our 1419 site being Green. If the canal was not green slim, that site really would have been great.

We have stayed on the 600 Loop twice (614 and 616) and while it was very convenient to Chip and Dales sing along and the Movies, we noticed more inner bus noise and sounds from the Sing Along and the Movies at night. But our sites were almost right across from Chip and Dales Sing Along area.

On all 5 trips to The Fort we have made loop request each time and have only gotten our requested loop twice.

Our last stay was site 1406, it was the outer part of the loop on the canal side which is further from the comfort station and pool. Its a perfect location if you have teens that want to walk over to the pool by themselves or catch the movie. It was a very quiet loop, never heard any pool noise or the movies. The first night I heard this very loud music from across the canal and thought it was some large motorhome playing a movie outdoors or just enjoying some music, turns out it was the electric parade on the lake, that sound sure carries.

Ditto on what others have said. Our first stay at the Fort we were in 1400 (inner loop). It is very close to the campfire/movie and a short walk over to the pool and Meadows Trading Post. I don't recall it being overly noisy either. If you have kids and will spend a fair amount of time at the Fort (instead of the parks), it is a great Loop.

The only thing I didn't like was having to catch an internal bus to get to the boats to MK and beyond. We are mostly park people and the daily waits to get back and forth got a little old. That's the primary reason we pick Preferreds now and try to get Loop 100.

We stayed at the 1400 loop in October during Halloween week and loved it. Very convenient to the campfire and pool. We were right across from the comfort station and didn't find it noisy at all. But we were in the MK Halloween night so i am sure on Halloween night the whole place was crazy! I really liked the convenience to the pool. We could hear the movie outside at night while sitting around our fire, and i really enjoyed it!

Thanks for all the replies! I'm going to keep my request for the 1400 loop. :)

We stayed in Loop 1400 actually we were in 1431 July 2014. They told us it might be tight getting in, but with my husband and son in law's backing ability there was not a problem! Close to bathhouse and to the movie area. Might have been noisy but we had 3 kids with us, so the noise was no problem. We are going back December 2015 we requested 1400 again!

We have requested 1400 the last few years because of the proximity to the pool and movie/sing-a-long area. We are usually close enough on Big Bear that we can hear the sing-a-long and movie from our RV. Like Elsa and the cold, the noise doesn't bother us.
