Vibe/Edge question

Any feedback on what your tweens/teens thought of Vibe and Edge?

Starting to plan a trip for next year with 6 12yo-17yo's. Some of them think a Disney cruise would be too kiddie themed. Would love to have tips to share with them to show the fun they can have on the cruise. Already have some scans of old Navigators to show them to see the daily offerings.

TIA!

My DD, age 12, LOVES Disney cruises. When she was younger, she didn't spend a whole lot of time in the kids clubs, but on this last one in November, she was in the Edge most of the time. And she's already looking forward to hitting it again in December!

I have a 12 year old and a 16 year old. The younger loves the Edge the older loves the Vibe. My 16yo is sad that his days in the Vibe are almost over. He always makes great friends and always has a great time. I frequently see the Vibe kids running around the ship whether it be just to socialize, or dancing at pirate night together, or on a scavenger hunt. They all always seem to be having a lot of fun. The magicians and other entertainment also go into the clubs and entertain the teens as well. Looking at the navigators are a great idea but sometimes they are just having fun hanging together and being teens.

Our DS "graduated" from the Vibe a few years ago, but he is having almost as much fun, if not more, in the Club 18*21.

I have a 14 year old and 17 year old. This will be the last time he can be in the club. They make great friends and like someone said they are all over the ship together or on the sports deck as a group. Characters do not visit them ....lol The Vibe used to make a zombie type movie not sure if they still do that with some of the teens getting made up as zombies. The spaces are pretty cool.

The 14 can go to either club this time around but I think she will stick with the Edge one more time since she loves that and it is more her age group. That is the first question I have when we go to the club for the open house to see which has more her age range. They basically do the same things just different spaces.

DD 14 loved Vibe. We saw her for a couple of meals and the morning at Castaway Cay. The rest of the time she was hanging out in the Vibe or with the Vibe gang. She loved it - as you can see.

Our daughter was 12 and practically lived in the club during our cruise. She made fast friends (some she still texts) and thought most of the activities were fun. Her favorite was the scavenger hunt.

We just got off the Wonder yesterday. My 15yo niece loved the Vibe and the friends she made there! Sometimes they were in the Vibe and other times just enjoyed hanging out together on the ship.

The Vibe is 14 to 17 and the Edge is 11 to 14

That is way 14 year olds get to go back and forth. Sometimes if the Vibe is too full they won't get that choose it is one or the other.

You can try but I would think not. I think if they have a lot of older kids on a cruise they won't let them go up to the Vibe at all. That is why my dd stayed with the Edge last time, the kids were more her speed.

My 13 year old son has loved the Edge. He will be 14 on our cruise this summer and is looking forward to trying out Vibe.

My 12yo loved edge & 15yo loved vibe. Both girls, we only saw them at dinner & excursions. This was last April & they still text their club friends, oldest may have a couple fly out for her sweet 16. They were never as excited and didn't spend as much time in the oceaneers club/lab when they were younger"

My son shockingly did not like edge he is 11 and I guess the couple times he went the counselors didn't encourage him. He can be shy but is usually a joiner so I was shocked. He did spend time at the lab computers which shocked me as well!
