No housewarming gifts necessary!

The DISboards will be moving this weekend to a new home :drive:

--same address, but all new boards. :surfweb:

We are moving our boards from the current software and servers to all new systems! We have been on this generation of software for a long time. There were a lot of reasons we were unable to move but we now believe we have found a great solution.
We are very excited to move to Xenforo! Xenforo ltd is run by a team we have known for a long time and they have done a great job with this product. We certainly wanted to wait until it was stable but we feel we are there and that this will provide a great solution for everyone especially our mobile users.
We are done testing the actual technical migration and Corey and his design team are now working on the new look.
It currently looks like the boards will shut down Sunday Morning 2/1 around 1am eastern time and reopen some time on Sunday 2/1 late afternoon/evening
There are a lot of factors that could affect the exact time
I will start a thread on the tech support board if you have any questions please ask there!

New members (and old!), we hope this won't cause too much confusion. :confused:

Please feel free to let me know if you need any assistance-- we don't want anyone to get lost in the move! I am not very tech savvy so please also check out the thread on the Tech Support board linked above.

Buh bye you old boards... You've been a very good friend to me. You've taught me most everything I know about Disney, and led me in the right direction for things you couldn't . You've saved me lots of money with all the tips, tricks, and codes. And driven my family crazy with all the time I've spent with you.
I won't really know if I'll miss you until I meet the new boards, so I can't really say parting is such sweet sorrow just yet.
I can say it's been nice knowing you... And thanks. I guess will miss your face, that I'm sure of..

seems like much more options, at least ones I can navigate better! Thanks, hope the app will work on my samsung s3, it never did before... fingers crossed.... TY!

People seem to be liking it on their tablet and notebooks but, I'm lost here on my lap top! Still trying to find all of my old favorite threads!

There is a "Watched Thread" option on the light blue tool bar up on top. See if the threads you are looking for are there.

The app will not work. You just need to access the DIS in your browser and it has some sort of technology so it will work on every type of mobile device. So far I am happy with how it looks on my phone and ipod.
