Portofino Bay View Balconies??

Hi,

Sorry for starting a whole new thread about this but I had difficulty finding a clear answer in the Portofino Hotel details thread.

Could someone let me know if any of the Bay View rooms have balconies or is it just the deluxe rooms overlooking the pool? If such a thing does exist, is there any way I could request it ahead of time or am I better off asking when we arrive?

Your best chance of a bay view with a balcony is in the east wing. Every bay view room on the top floor has a full size balcony. There are also other rooms in the east wing with balconies but they are randomly scattered. Definitely make the request by the calling the hotel directly at 407-503-1000 after you have made your reservation.

RyGuy - Are these deluxe king and queen rooms or bay view king and queen rooms?

They are standard bay views. There are no deluxe rooms in the east wing. The top floor of the west wing houses deluxe rooms that mostly connect to villa suite parlors.

One more thing about the West Wing balconies, you may share a balcony with the room next to you. My inlaws had a 5th balcony with a bay view and they shared it.
