My 180 day was to day for our 9 day stay. Last year we had no problem getting PPO BOG and we booked 60 days out. This time I could not find on until the last few days of our stay and could not get one dinner at BOG. CRAZY

Having the same experience. I think the increased number of parties may have impacted dinner availability (just a guess), but I'll keep trying until November

Yeah, I always have a hard time booking dinner here. Heard they have a new breakfast thing so will be trying that in August. Much easier to book too.

Guess I will keep on trying. July last year we did PPO several times and loved getting to ride 7DMT 3-4 times before crowds.

It's been a difficult ADR to get since it opened. If you were able to get a PPO ADR last year with no problem at 60 days out, you were lucky. The ADRs do come available, but you have to be searching frequently to snag a cancellation. I would recommend the touringplans.com reservation finder. It worked for me to get an ADR my DD requested well after our 180 day mark. .

There is so much movement in ADRs within the days before your visit, that it makes almost no sense to search for days on end. There are people who hold ADRs until the last possible moment before penalty, just so they can decide what meal they will eat.

MVMCP closes MK at 7PM 4 nights/ week. September - December are the hardest months to get BOG dinner due to MK being closed so many nights for the parties

BOG has been pretty much the most popular restaurant at WDW since it opened in 2012 and only started offering ADR's in 2015 so I really don't see where you think its gotten harder to get as of late.
I made a lunch ADR for 14 people at my 180 day mark staying offsite the week leading up to Easter this year so if anything I'd say its getting a little easier lol.
You're going when there is FD so that always makes it more challenging.
Just keep checking back for days and times that suit you better.

Unfortunately breakfast and lunch are a lot easier to get then dinner, BOG dinner tends to be one of the hardest dinners to get ever since it opened in 2013. One thing I can recommend for future reference since it won't work now is to look for hardest first and at the end of your trip first as people arriving up to 10 days before you have already booked their ADRs also the time of year is a big factor. PPO breakfast really doesn't exist anymore either due to people being able to get into the park at 8am now. I hope you are able to get dinner there though, it is delicious.

My booking window opened Monday, May 15. I had the help of Disney Signature Services too find an ADR as well, and I wanted BOG for our party night (Mvmcp) however, they said that those reservations haven't opened up yet for BOG, so I just need to wait. Hoping I will be able to secure one for our trip eventually. I have my TA and DSS looking out for it :) so just wait it out, eventually the reservations should be released. I am finding the same thing for a ROL package, they haven't been released yet.

This is a time of year issue. We're going in early August, and were able to book Be Our Guest breakfast (& other high-demand ADRs) less than 3 months in advance, on the very first try. Fall is becoming an increasingly high-crowd time- that's why ressies are so hard to get for November.

I was hoping Skipper's Canteen would alleviate some of the pressure in BOG. Though from the reviews, it pales in comparison.

I decided 3 or 4 days after the 180 mark and had no problem booking BOG. Reservation at 11:45am.

Why would you say that? There's nothing about it that makes it Signature worthy. There's one character, and the food is mass produced.

Nothing Signature worthy about LeCellier and they made it Signature. Its popular and it stays full. Charging Signature prices=more $$. It will happen in the next few years after they do a "refurb" and update the menu.

Keep checking. I've never been able to get the ADR I wanted the first time I looked--even at the 180+ time. But I just keep checking and eventually I've been able to find exactly what I want. I even got a PPO ADR for our trip last month--I think it was about 5 weeks before the trip that I was able to get it.

Skipper's Canteen had forces working against it at first and so now people don't want to take a chance on it unfortunately.
It didn't allow for ADR's at first and it got a bad wrap for its food.
Thing is most people I talk to that went after you were allowed to make an ADR said it was amazing and I feel the same way.
