Off-site condos?

I'm looking for some recommendations for off-site condos please. We've stayed at Windsor Hills 3 times, and really like it. However, I'm wondering if there's something even better off-site that I'm missing out on. I can usually get a 3 bedroom condo at Windsor Hills for $100 or less per night, so I'm looking at something in that general price range. (Please don't try to convince me why staying on-site is a better choice. Been there, done that, still prefer off-site.) Thanks!

We are also looking. We have stayed at bonnet creek and really liked it. You could try there. We are going to universal this time ( not Disney) and are looking for something closer to universal. We have also stayed at the vistanta. ( not as nice as bonnet creek in my opinion) but still really nice.

3BR condos for $100 or less better than Windsor Hills, that close to Disney is going to be extremely difficult. I have not stayed there so take that as a caveat. I have been doing a ton of research on it though because we may be renting there. The only place I have stayed comparable would be WBC. $120-$130 would be the going rate for a 2BR unit. It would be $150+ for a 3BR unit.

We did Universal and Disney over Thanksgiving and stayed at Windsor Hills. We had stayed there once previously. I also looked for a place closer to Universal and really didnt see anything any better. We had stayed previously at Visitana which was nice, but we like Windsor Hills much better. The location is quieter and there are a ton of restaurants just down the street from WH.

Edited to add: ok I found orange lake and a brochure FULL of activities!!! I would still like to hear from anyone whose kids took part tho! Thanks!!!

WBC: I can only speak for this resort from experience. Activities for kids and adults are all over the place. There is something going on almost all the time. Ducky races in the lazy rivers, games at the bigger pools, karaoke, crafts. There were more but we didn't get to do much of it.

Windsor Hills: Seriously looking at staying there. The condos and townhouses are great. The one drawback I am seeing so far is that there are not too many planned kid activities. There are some, but not nearly as many as WBC. I have quotes for the second busiest times of the year for between $550 for a 3BR condo all the way up to $1,000 for 3BR townhouses. Several of the townhouses are quite a bit less than $1,000. They have a little dipping pool if the kids or adults want to just hop in and get wet.

Orange Lake: Waiting to see quotes to see if it is worth looking at. From the pictures and amenities, it looks as good as WBC...dare I say better just from looking at pictures and reading reviews? I will hold that judgement off for now. Vacation Strategy rents OLR. They have a pretty wicked aerial picture of the resort with Everest, Swan/Dolphin, Epcot in the background.

All I can say for certain is that we will always be AP and offsite family. When I run the numbers, I can get 3 weeks of trips for the price of 1 in equal accommodations on Disney property.
