Canadian Buffoon's Hi Low Vacation - South Central Musings

Fun update!

Love the photo session with Ariel!

PhotoPass_Visiting_MK_7804292784_zpsue4zy0sm.jpg

Funny that the lady next to you looks like she is holding on for dear life and screaming and you and the other 2 people in the car look calm as can be..

Great Pic!

Who does that in public?! :rotfl2:

It was better.
Soooo good.
But... did I mention Big?
(You did the hands thing right?
Bonus points if you did.)

I did! Question, was the cookie warm? Soft?

1. Okay, fine. I'm leaving.
What method of transportation did I use?
---------------------------Bus

2. How long is my wait this time?----------- 2 minutes

3. I am going to a park... sometime.
Where am I going now?
a. My resort.--------------------------------this one
b. Springs.
c. Another park.
d. Another resort.
e. Other, because there has to be an other.

4. Which park do I go to next?---Epcot

5. Extra security? Yes or no?----yes

6. I stand in line. I know. You're shocked.
How long? (it was long)-----15 minutes

8. Long day? Short?
What time do I get to bed?-------------11pm

Bonus: Just a little thought, did you see it?
Sure you saw it.
You saw it, right?-----------yes I did, just as rare as the wait time for that ride being 15 minutes.

I"d forgotten to mention that I yes, did in fact, put my hands up to my face like a moron. But if that's how we get points here, and seeing as though I am in the lead...

Now, about any other points that might be bestowed upon your humble reader... might I suggest/request/beg for a couple of bonus points because yes, I did know that you did the HDR in post-processing (yeah, that was a lame one) or maybe because, I thanked you for the creative re-telling of how Ariel got cold feet at the last minute and chose that other guy?

Eek, I've been so busy with work, and work sending me to courses that I completely missed this update! I think I still have time to answer the questions though -

Questions, next round:

1. Okay, fine. I'm leaving.
What method of transportation did I use?

I'm going to say the monorail, and you took it to one of the resorts along the line (I'm leaning towards the Grand - you wanted to take pictures). You then switch to a bus at the resort.

2. How long is my wait this time?

6 minutes

3. I am going to a park... sometime.
Where am I going now?
a. My resort.
b. Springs.
c. Another park.
d. Another resort.
e. Other, because there has to be an other.

A resort, but not for long. You just took pictures at the Grand and then caught a bus to the Springs.

4. Which park do I go to next?

Epcot, you want more food and wine offerings.

5. Extra security? Yes or no?

Of course.

6. I stand in line. I know. You're shocked.
How long? (it was long)

45 minutes - you had to visit Arendelle.

7. You know those jerks
who stand right in front of you
after you've staked out a spot?
Who was it?
a. CM
b. Man (guest)
c. Woman (guest)
d. Me

C) Woman - but you didn't mind since it was for Illuminations, and you had saw that last night.

8. Long day? Short?
What time do I get to bed?

Who has short days while they are in Disney? Of course it was long!

Bonus: Just a little thought, did you see it?
Sure you saw it.
You saw it, right?

Saw both of them :) What sort of treasures are in your treasury? And just how amazing are you?

Last weekend my plans were to comment on your TR and then edit and download all my photopass pictures since they were to expire on Thursday the 24th. So who calls Saturday night? My daughter who tells me she is coming home in 3hours to stay the night and then leave Sunday night! So my plans got a little changed.

I can see that.
Wait... did you get your PP photos?

Once again I don’t know why I have problems with multi-quote, so I write done things I want to mention to you.

Are you getting error messages?

I of course now have to understand my own notes. I can have decent handwriting when I want to but somethings I write too fast then had no clue what it says.

I totally get this.
When I write quickly, it's illegible.
When I slow down... it's abysmal.

So I will just throw out my random thought and hope you can understand them.

Fire away!

Extra security and the metal detectors ….too bad you can’t just schedule a fastpass for that too.

Oooh... that's actually a good idea!

My husband got “picked” twice. I had my purse and he had the camera bag each time, all unzipped to get checked. The second time he was chosen, I offered to take the opened camera bag from him and the security guard looks at me and says, “You can go through too”. Thanks!

 Burned!

We liked the new Soarin because it was new but when we did get a “bad seat” it was very distracting.

Isn't it?
I need to see it, "sans slant"
before I make a final decision.

Still... some of that CGI. :sad2:

Very impressed that you got to HS a little after rope drop.

I sashay.... but I can do it quickly.

One of our to do list next time is to use the Gateway or use a boat to HS/EP.

I did that last year and really enjoyed it!

I agree the pictures without the hat are nice and just “looks’ right now.

::yes:: It's the way the park was
designed for crying out loud!

I can’t believe your TT ride wasn’t even full! We rode it 3 times and every time in the back row.

I get special privileges
because I'm special.

Momma used to always say
"Don't mind him. He's
special."

HS was our first park day and our plan was rope drop RRC (FP was: TT ,Star Tours & TSMM). So we go all the way there and it’s down. Our first ride of the vacation!

Well, that sucks!
They should've
reserved it for you!

So we worked our way to our first FP and Star Tours had a 10 min wait, so we got in line and did that first and went right back through with our FP.

That's the best, isn't it?

We liked that somethings changed each time we rode it and was “tilted” twice.

::yes:: Ya just never know
what you'll get.

Later in the week we went back to HS, and ended up standby for RR, which was our longest wait the whole vacation (an hour).

 An hour? Yikes!

But I know I would have regretted now riding it every time I heard an Aerosmith song.

I get that.
There was
no way I wasn't riding it.

We also had both our names come up on the billboard sign while in line. That was a surprise! Especially since my husband’s nickname showed up because I used it on his MB.

What??? What are you talking about!
I don't know anything about that!
Where is that???

Too bad you had to play TSMM with such a “jerk”. Would you call me one too if I beat you like I did my husband every time we played?

 Of course I wouldn't
call you a jerk!
But good for you for beating your DH.

Just... cut me a
little slack, okay?

That game was so much fun! This was the first trip we ever played it and was hooked. I have to be fair, he beat me every time at Buzz so we each had our bragging moments.

We ate at the50’s Prime Time too. I had the Sampler because I saw yours on a previous TR.

You did?!?
I think that's the first time anyone's
said they did something because
of something I posted.

I’ll have to make a note about the onion rings.

Do! They were so good!

We had a fun waiter and won’t mind going back again.

The waiter really makes this restaurant
a step above the others.
Some of the food is good,
some very good, but it's
the wait salad

I showed your picture to my husband and then looked at our picture, you guys sat in the same seat!

No way! What are the odds???
(Well, if you know the seating capacity,
it would be easy to calculate...)

Nice you got to DS and the Harley store, sorry the chip was a bust. I’m sure going back will be in your plans next time. DS/DD sure is different since last time we were there. I’m sure the locals love it, just not the shopping I’m thinking of when on vacation.

What kind of shopping do you think of?

So many new eating places. We ate at Raglan Road the day we flew in and when we went back one afternoon, a cocktail and apps at Jock’s Hanger.

Two places that I want to try!

Just to remind you that if you make a trip to THE Harley-Davidson store (I think they have a museum, maybe tours?) in Milwaukee WI, I’m an hour away, and love going to Milw. (if you remember, EVERY year we go to the State Fair)

Yes! It's on my bucket list.
When is the State Fair? And where? Springfield?

Beaches and Cream looks yummy. I have never but may need to learn a way to “plan” a ADR for dessert. Again BW/YC resort visit is on the to do list next time.

DO IT!!!

So cool you got to dive AGAIN at the Living Seas. Some probably dream of it happening just once.

::yes::

Bummer Gramps and the others couldn’t “shut up” a little.

Oh, it wasn't so bad. I go for the diving,
not so much for the tour.
Remember, I'd seen it before.

And he was very quiet
once he was submerged.

Whoa! On the shark. Maybe he knew you didn’t know who your diving buddy was and was offering to be it!

 Could be!
"Fish are friends and you're my buddy."

Too bad you didn’t get enough screen time on the video to take home.

Oh, well. I have one from last time.
I don't need one every time I go.
I was just hoping for a something to
put in the TR.

Glad you had fun playing games with the humans on the other side of the tank

::yes:: It's the best!

F&W is always fun. One of the reasons we like coming around our anniversary. Looks like you got to sample a few things. We enjoyed the Kalua Pork Slider too. I tried a drink (maybe Ruby would like) It was a Frozen Brown Elephant, as described by the picture I took from the African booth: Frozen Coca-Cola Slushy layered with Amarula Cream Liqueur. Quite tasty!:drinking1

Oooh... She just might like that!

Once again, I got a little (lot) chatty on an old update.

You did! Thanks!

I lurk, hold it all in, then explode with lots of thoughts.

A veritable barfing of comments. :lmao:

Will hopefully get caught up today and this time slowly read your next update so I don’t miss anything.
Have a great week:-)

You too!

Why do those darn alarms wake us up so early???

I don't know!
Wait! Yes I do!
Because they were invented by the Devil
and they're evil! Evil I say!

She must have slept in

I have an alarm I can give her.

such a nice guy!!

Oh, no. It wasn't a big deal.

I LOVE this photo!!

 Thanks!

Yes, yes it is, so not just you

::yes::

:rotfl2: or High ho? is she from Colorado??

 You're too late! That's already been said!
Great minds!

You're crazy!

ah ha! its never too hot for French Onion soup. Looks delish

Soooo good.
And no. It's never too hot
for French Onion soup.

Monorail time!

3 min

another resort

Epcot

nope, they let you through this time

40 min

You're too nice to do that... ill say c. a woman

aren't all Disney days long days? you go to bed at 12:30am

Noted.

Welcome to the Jungle Pkondz

Where you'll find people with guns
and all kinds of plants. Like roses.

1. bus

2. 5 minutes

3 b. Springs.

4. AK

5. No

6. 18 minutes

7. a. CM

8. medium? ;) hahaha
9:45pm

Noted.

Bonus: yes, yes I saw it. Almost passed it by, but it caught my eye! You're amazing!!!

I am! Am I not?

Also, My hubby is sad Cheshire Café doesn't have cupcakes anymore. :( They were delicious and would be special kinds for the season, or special events going on.

Well, that just makes it worse.
Not only did I miss out...
But it looks like I missed out
on something really good!

I call no fair!!

I can see that.
Wait... did you get your PP photos?
It was a very long process to download. I bought the Memory Maker before we left so that I knew we could have all the pictures we wanted. Didn't want to ask for someone to take one of us with our camera. Really wanted to be able to pick and choose a nice "Anniversary" picture and PP takes a lot. Now I can print as many as I want at Walgreens, maybe some to go in Xmas cards. Also personalized a picture frame at Disney to put a 5X7 in so I can print that too.
Are you getting error messages?
:goodvibesNot today!
When I write quickly, it's illegible.
I know! What's really bad is one morning I quickly wrote a note to my husband and when I came home he asked me what it said. I couldn't figure it out!:confused3
There was no way I wasn't riding it.
I don't think hubby would cared if we rode it or not (because of the wait) but I talked him into it.
For 10 years, every time I heard an Aerosmith song I would think of the ride. I was not going to come back home, hear one and think to myself, "Dang it I didn't get on it!"
I don't know anything about that!
Where is that???
Just as we entered the building, there is a room with billboard/posters on one wall, just before we enter where the microphones are. They would change every so often and a new one would come up. We saw my husband's nickname first so I tried to grab my phone for a quick picture, people were in the way and I wasn't fast enough. But I did get mine. So as I'm looking at it now it Says: Live in Concert at the top and Shelly at the bottom. Hey! I just noticed that it also had that day's date on it and the town I live in under that!
You did?!?
I think that's the first time anyone's
said they did something because
of something I posted.
I remember you having it and I really didn't even look at the menu much because I planned on having it. Always like to have a variety anyways
What kind of shopping do you think of?
Well I guess I'm not looking for clothes unless it's Disney. Only so much room in the suitcase. Not a big jewelry girl either. Just not something I would do on vacation unless it was something unique I could only get there.

Yes! It's on my bucket list.
When is the State Fair? And where? Springfield?
Milwaukee has a nice size airport. That's where we flew out from. Actually we were talking about the fair today because later this week I have to put in for next year's vacation. It's always for 10 days in the early part of August. Not Springfield! We go to the Wisconsin State Fair which is held in Milwaukee. I don't know much about racing but it on the grounds of the "Milwaukee Mile", actually during the fair there is parking on the track. In the last 30 years we've probably only missed it twice. Now my kids have friends that look forward to it every year and like to go. So many bands, food, beer (margarita/Mike's hard lemonade for me) animals, vendors. We make it a full day.

Step one.
Explain that you write a TR
and it would make the readers happy.
(I sure hope you enjoyed that!
Otherwise my efforts were in vain.)

Definitely not in vain! That was hilarious! But everyone else has pretty much covered that territory - no new comments to add.

I thanked her and unbeknownst
to me, the PP photog snapped this:

Awww....

OMG! What is she doing to those little people!
SHE'S EATING THEM!

Bwahaha! That showed up much better on the second reading, on the actual computer. Love the commentary.

You can see it in her eyes.
I know it looks like pure terror,
but I'm sure it's not.

Of course not...

Ya know, she's a great kidder, she is.
And I'm positive those hands
aren't raised in a totally defensive posture.

Never...

I only noticed the joke
in the above photo
while I was editing.
Not when I took the shot.

I didn't notice it IRL, or on the first reading, either! Good catch!

I'd read that some of the best
cupcakes in all of MK were
at the Cheshire Café.

Well, you know why they
call it plan B?

BECAUSE IT SUCKS!!! THAT'S WHY!!!

Oops! I guess they disappeared...

Can't think of anything
that disappears.

Yup. Cupcakes disappeared.

And a cat.

Within moments, a server
wheeled a cart up to my table
and greeted me with a "Bonjour!"
I immediately replied:
"Salut! ça vas aujourd'hui?"*
And she immediately responded with:
"That's all I got."

*translation:
I drive way too fast to worry about cholesterol.

Lol! Dd gets mad at me when I do that sort of thing to her. She is on her second year of Middle School French. She keeps stumping me on random vocabulary words, but I can stump her with basic conversational French.

The French Onion Soup
(OMG. Sooo good!)

That does look good. I'll have to remember that, in case I ever do get to eat at BOG!

Questions, next round:

1. Okay, fine. I'm leaving.
What method of transportation did I use?
2. How long is my wait this time?
3. I am going to a park... sometime.
Where am I going now?
a. My resort.
b. Springs.
c. Another park.
d. Another resort.
e. Other, because there has to be an other.
4. Which park do I go to next?
5. Extra security? Yes or no?
6. I stand in line. I know. You're shocked.
How long? (it was long)
7. You know those jerks
who stand right in front of you
after you've staked out a spot?
Who was it?
a. CM
b. Man (guest)
c. Woman (guest)
d. Me
8. Long day? Short?
What time do I get to bed?

Here goes nothing...
1. Bus
2. 4 minutes
3. d
4. Epcot
5. Yes
6. 45 minutes
7. d (by accident. And then you moved)
8. Long day - your spot was for Illuminations 11 pm

Bonus: Just a little thought, did you see it?
Sure you saw it.
You saw it, right?

Why yes, you are amazing. And I only saw it on the big screen on the second read-through.

(I would've done the thing with the hands, but I was in places where people would've looked at me strangely for both read-throughs! I know, they probably look at me strangely anyhow, but I didn't think I should give them even more reasons...)

I am a bit late to the game. Been very busy with life and such lately. At least I didn't miss one update completely (though I bet it will happen in the next month or so!)

6am is definitely an early wake up But it is worth it. Disney Exhaustion is the only form of exhaustion that is worth it!

GAH! You and the buses! 0 minutes. REALLY!?!?
My husband and I are headed down in a couple of weeks (with no kids!) to do the 1/2 marathon. We usually rent a car because we have the WORST bus luck. But we are rolling the dice this time. Can I please borrow your good luck?

The Ariel Pic is hilarious!

You know, I have never been through the actual 7DMT queue! The wait has always been to long! It looks cool.

I love the Jungle Cruise. One of my favorites. But you are right: A good skipper (and sometimes a good group on the boat) can make or break this one. So it is a tough gamble!

The giant ice cream sandwich is the best. Sleep Hollow Refreshments also has one. Just saying.

And for the questions:
1. Bus
2. 6 minutes
3. B. Springs
4. Animal Kingdom
5. Yes. You look suspicious.
6. 45 minutes
7. I wanted to say D, but I know you are too nice for that, so A. CM
8. LONG. Because Disney Exhaustion is worth it. 11:15pm.

And nope. Didn't see it. Though in my defense my computer is being all wonky and most pictures weren't loading anyhow!

:thumbsup2
Do you really want to hear
about my boring life at home
or would you rather read about Disney?
Sure!

Why does rope drop have to be
so early?
I totally agree. It's hard to drag yourself out of bed let alone the family.

Wait time: 0 minutes.
As it should be.
Of course!

Am I not generous?
Totally generous. Do I get generous bonus points, since I missed the last update because we were at WDW?

People tried to race ahead on the sidewalks
but the CMs kept yelling at them to slow down.
We watched the welcome show so I never experienced the mad rush in to the park. I could see people ready to sprint though.

See? She's obviously infatuated with me.
Obviously, it's so natural.

I told the Mom and son to go ahead.
One person ahead of me wasn't going to
change my day, but it might, theirs.
You're the best!

Doesn't she look happy to see me?
YES!!!!

Maybe it wasn't quite as wonderful for her.
When I went to sweep her
up into my arms, well...
The best!

Hope for the best.
As always.

What is she doing to those little people!
You know I never noticed that she was holding that before.

But dang that's a hard shot to get!
It looks great!

I tried to make people's day
by scowling at anyone in
the FastPass lane.
When we went through the FP line I never once looked at the other people. We got off of the Frozen ride and I felt completely bad for the people waiting.

Not like taking a picture of them, of course.
Creepy creeper.

Okay, more pics.

DSC03746_zpsqo06iyte.jpg
So the airline company didn't go so well so you had to open a bank? What happened?

Still, sashaying...

DSC03800_zpsekqjkmsi.jpg
Amazing!!!!!!:thumbsup2

Coolest trees in WDW
They are super cool. I never noticed them.

And a good skipper totally
makes or breaks this ride
I agree.

I tried to get a decent shot,
but sometimes...

Yes

8. Long day? Short?
What time do I get to bed?

long day. Bedtime was 11:55 p.m.

Bonus: Just a little thought, did you see it?
Sure you saw it.
You saw it, right?

Aye aye Skipper!

It was cute. Not the best Disney movie ever, but it was entertaining and had some good songs. The little tag after the credits was one of the funniest I have seen tough.

Good to know! We usually wait 'til the end
of a Pixar movie anyway,
but now I'll know for sure not to leave early.

That's another one of my middle names!

 I believe you!

When you come for the Long Beach Grand Prix we can have dinner there.

http://www.crabpotlongbeach.com/seafeasts

We like the Westport.

Oh, my. That looks good.
I sent the link off to Kay.

(No I haven't forgotten to e you back,
just was hoping to have some dates.
Alas, not yet.)

I don't know if I have a shot, but I wouldn't mind some more of those candy bars!

You have a shot. You were near the top!
And you still may be.

It goes down precisely at 1AM my time.

Ah. Noted.

Usually I'm not awake then, except on Tuesday nights as I'm wired when I get home from band. And when I'm on the East coast and wake up at 4AM!

I'm rarely on at 3am.
Hence not sure what time.
Thanks!

1. Okay, fine. I'm leaving.
What method of transportation did I use?

T_Man: Bus
Lady H: Monorail

2. How long is my wait this time?

Lady H: e. other, because there has to be an other

4. Which park do I go to next?

T_Man: Epcot
Lady H: Epcot

5. Extra security? Yes or no?

T_Man: Yes. Why stop now.
Lady H: Of course.

T_Man: 30 Minutes
Lady H: 20 Minutes

Who was it?
a. CM
b. Man (guest)

Lady H: d. Me.

8. Long day? Short?
What time do I get to bed?

T_Man: Long Day. 11:30 pm
Lady H: Long Day. Midnight

Bonus: Just a little thought, did you see it?
Sure you saw it.
You saw it, right?

T_Man: Of course I saw it, but ummmm; which it are you referring to? I saw it three different times. Are you referring to under the sea, gem and the holograms or the one day only show from the one man band Jungle Cruise performer?

Lady H: She didn't know about seeing anything but something was telling her she needed to just keep swimming over to the treasury so she can make a withdrawal so she can pay to see some alleged amazing show that was showing at Jungle Cruise for one day only.

And of course, if I saw IT, she saw IT.

Okay.
I'm totally beat.
I can't re-read it again.

So I'm posting it, warts and all.

Besides. If there's any mistakes
you'll let me know, right?

Right.
Who do you think you are, Fauntleroy07? (Dan) Miss him here - all of his spelling mistakes were lots of fun!

Good to know! We usually wait 'til the end
of a Pixar movie anyway,
but now I'll know for sure not to leave early.

Smart. I'm always surprised at how many people get up and leave. Fran and and I were the only ones left in the theater.

(No I haven't forgotten to e you back,
just was hoping to have some dates.
Alas, not yet.)

You don't need dates! There's so much else to plan! You only have one day man!

You have a shot. You were near the top!
And you still may be.

A couple misguided answers and it all can come tumbling down.

Only if you get greedy.
I'm not greedy but I would like to win.

Or do something silly
like tell me my favourite ride
is IASW or something.
I would NEVER!

You know there is an Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach and on my first visit my friend and I kept making the same comments about the lobsters and the moms and children around us were horrified. Afterwards we went to a restaurant where they dumped shellfish, sausage, corn and potatoes onto your table and we were quite happy.
So all I would be eating is corn and potatos. I don't eat any fish or seafood.

green bean casserole
That's DH's favorite! I wouldn't touch it. Green beans are the devil's vegetable.

Sure you saw it.
You saw it, right?

I saw your new bank right away. I had to go back to find you were a skipper.

I've never been to BOG but I want to get the roast pork and the grey stuff.
I probably would have waited in line for the cinnamon roll.
I'm surprised the Cheshire Cafe doesn't have the cake cups anymore.
We could have shared the ice cream cookie!

Sorry for the delay in getting
this update up and running.
I could give you all kinds of reasons...

The sun was in your eyes. I got it.

Why does rope drop have to be
so early?
Wouldn't a nice eleven or twelve o'clock
be more civilized?
(Oh, and everyone else but me has
to wait until... hmm... three p.m.
before they show up.
Well, my friends can be there too.
And people who pay moi for the privilege.
Seems fair.)

I like this idea! I'm sure Disney's marketing team is already figuring out how to charge for it.

There was a bit of a kerfuffle
when the five people waiting
didn't genuflect and let me
board first.
I let them live.
I'm going to Disney.
I was in a good mood.
Am I not generous?

th

I wasn't the first to arrive,
far from it, but I have my ways.
Just like on my previous solo trip
(and with Kay, as well)
I sashayed over towards the locker
rentals (didn't need one today)
and circled around the crowd.

Very slick. Nicely done. Helps that you're ok with ignoring the opening show.

As we approached 7DMT, they broke off
towards Storybook Circus
while the crowd veered left to 7DMT.

It was a little weird.
Four CMs... walking along by themselves.
While everyone else ignored them
and headed for 7DMT.

:rotfl2: That does sound like an odd picture.

But this time would be different.
No Kay! Ariel and I could run off together.
I approached the entrance to her grotto.
(I mean, really. How can you not love someone
who has their own grotto, for Pete's sake!)

Great point! Now I want a grotto.

A train load of passengers on 7DMT
roared by and he waved.
"I got two of them." He said.
I laughed. I could think of worse
ways to spend my day.

Gotta love a CM trying to have fun with the guests.

A mother with a teen showed up next.
It was obvious that the teen
had some developmental issues.
The mom explained that they were
trying to get as many autographs as they could.
The CM excused himself again
and returned at 8:03 saying that Ariel was in.
I told the Mom and son to go ahead.
One person ahead of me wasn't going to
change my day, but it might, theirs.

That was good of you. May pixie dust follow you the rest of the day.

Doesn't she look happy to see me?

She's looking at the guy behind you, bringing her a donut for breakfast.

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: Well done, sir.

But not defeated!
I'm sure she was just taken a little off guard.
I mean, running (wheeling, pushed, dragged, whatever)
off on the spur of the moment is tough.
I'm sure if I just give her a little notice,
next time will be different.

Sure. "It's not you, it's me." I get that all the time.

I'm not normally a character fan,
but this girl went above and beyond.
It was really nice of her
and I appreciated it.

I hope you did too.

Absolutely. Great that she was willing to play along.

Oddly enough, at just a bit after eight,
it was still a walk on.

:rolleyes1

Yes. Odd.

oooooh... bubbles.

Why do I have an urge to pee now?

See, I don't get that at all. I saw the bubbles and thought of Niagara Falls, or a fire hose, or one of those garden fountains where the water is constantly tricking into a little pond, or...

Crap. Now I have to pee.

I think they were lying.
Fish lie you know.
Go ahead and see for yourselves.
The next time you're talking with a fish,
ask them anything.
They'll never tell you the truth.

Just like atoms. They make up everything. #Dadjoke

OMG! What is she doing to those little people!
SHE'S EATING THEM!

:rotfl2:

Won't talk huh?
Did I mention how delicious you'd be
served with drawn butter?

According to Jim Gaffigan, this is the whole reason people eat lobster. "Hmmm...how can I find a way to eat 3 sticks of butter?"

Ya know, she's a great kidder, she is.
And I'm positive those hands
aren't raised in a totally defensive posture.

Exactly. It's not you, it's me. Her. Whatever.

Don't you just hate when you're
trying to poop and someone
in the next stall wants to talk to you?
I feel for Flounder.
I really do.

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Ariel: "OMG. Maybe I'd be better off with the creeper."
Guy: "I really like your hair. Is it yours?"
Ariel: "Are you sure you're a prince? It's called inbreeding, right?"
Guy: "Wanna get married?"

Don't do it... Don't do....

Ariel: "Yes!"

:rotfl2::rotfl2: Man, you're on a roll here.

The ride wait time was posted as 15 minutes.
(That's 15 minutes. Not 150 minutes.)

15 minutes? For Peter Pan? You really do have pixie dust.

Is it just me?
Or is having a shadow butterfly
land on your hand's shadow
the best thing ever?

No. This is the best thing ever:

Dole-Pineapple-Whip1.jpg

The shadow is up there, though.

Well, BTMRR is out.
Down for refurb.

A sadder sentence has never been written.

Hmmm... 15 minute wait
for 7DMT?
This I can do.

You are a regular pixie dust factory.

I only noticed the joke
in the above photo
while I was editing.
Not when I took the shot.

I hadn't noticed that before either. But I like it!

Saying hello to someone is one thing,
but... "Hi Ho"??? Really?
This is a family park, Disney.

And calling Snow White such names!

Is Snow White the hi ho????

It would explain so much.

Yes, but it raises so many more!

I was starting to feel a bit peckish,
so I personally pecked a passing person.

:rotfl: Say that five times fast.

Well, you know why they
call it plan B?

BECAUSE IT SUCKS!!! THAT'S WHY!!!

Dang straight.

I ordered a cheese Danish
(boring)
and a raspberry lemonade slush.
(That was okay.)

You're right. It sucks!

Here I am looking particularly
dull and vapid.
So.... my usual expression.

PhotoPass_Visiting_MK_7804352213_zpshh5jt9eg.jpg

Oh, you could do much worse.

The skipper told me I was sitting
on the battery and she got a charge
out of telling us that.
I know, I know... :sad2:
But she did apologize.
Even she knew that joke
was re-volting.

God bless the Jungle Cruise.

Look off to the right in the distance...

"OMG! Bernice! What have they done to you???
How will I break this news to Harold?
He'll be devastated!... and available."

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I tried to make people's day
by putting up my nose
in a look of superiority.
Some people scowled at me.
You! Yes you! It must be nice
to be rich and able to do that!

Mission accomplished.

That's pretty much the whole point of the FP+ experience!

Oh, no. Wait.

I put the camera down
and just enjoyed the ride.

Good for you.

Within moments, a server
wheeled a cart up to my table
and greeted me with a "Bonjour!"
I immediately replied:
"Salut! ça vas aujourd'hui?"*
And she immediately responded with:
"That's all I got."

Man, she could at least have said, "I surrender!"

*translation:
I drive way too fast to worry about cholesterol.

:rotfl2::rotfl::lmao: I thought it said, "I pooped in the fridge and ate a wheel of cheese."

I didn't even come close
to finishing it.
Total fail.
But totally delicious.

I had no idea that treat was there. Learn something new every day.

I liked his costume.
Clever.
He was wearing a T-shirt that said:
"This is my costume"

That's pretty much what I do for Halloween every year! I like to dress up as a suburban dad.

1. Okay, fine. I'm leaving.
What method of transportation did I use?

Boat.

Another resort--the Wilderness Lodge.

4. Which park do I go to next?

Animal Kingdom?

5. Extra security? Yes or no?

No.

6. I stand in line. I know. You're shocked.
How long? (it was long)

A jerk? Gotta be you.

Wait, I didn't mean it like that! It's not you, it's me.

But yes, in this case, it's you.

8. Long day? Short?
What time do I get to bed?

Long-ish. 10:30 p.m.

Bonus: Just a little thought, did you see it?
Sure you saw it.
You saw it, right?

Switching to inviso-text.

Yes! Watching Flounder take a dump.
Yes! Making a jewel deposit. Not like Flounder's deposit.
Yes! Cameo appearance as a JC skipper.

I just might be giving a secret away here but pushing Rope Drop as being awesome is a way that us Night Owls get the parks cleared out for us at night. Rope drop involves over an hour and a half of prep time for maybe an hour of reward. Closing out the park with smart touring strategy gives you 2-4 hours of empty park bliss, uncrowded buses too and from the parks and time to sleep in in the mornings.

I... never thought of that.
Then again, in a pinch I can shave, shower, etc, etc,
and be out the door in under 10 minutes.

I don't necessarily
want to rush, though.
So... give me 30 minutes.

But... There are people like me.
Up for rope drop and there til close.
Best of both worlds.

+ Exhaustion. Mustn't forget that.

Sad but true.

:faint:

If you call ,bigger than the nearly 3 year old's head, big.

Yep. Big!

Eep! Oops. 12:45am

Noted.
