Getting in line for Frozen Ever After after early breakfast

We have an 8:05 am breakfast at Akershus on a morning the park opens at 9. Could we possibly have time to eat and get in line for Frozen Ever After before park opening? I'm hoping I don't have to use one of our fastpass reservations for it since we'll be right there at the ride.

Very likely if you eat quickly as this is what nearly everyone plans to do that books a ppo ADR there. Keep in mind they could open the park around 8:40/8:45, so don't bank on rope drop always coming right at the scheduled time

Thanks!

We were there yesterday and led towards FEA from Mexico at 8.35am and were in line by 8.40am. I am sure each day is a bit different, but would be really rushed to make sure you get out in time.

We were there on Oct. 28. We had an 8:00 reservation. We had breakfast and met all the princesses. We left at the end when they do the parade. I saw people starting to line up and we just left and got on the line. We were able to get on twice before 9:25. Def get your check early and be ready to go a few min early.

We were there in early October, no hope of a Fastpass, and went to PPO at Garden Grille at 8:05, we walked all the way across the park and were second in line for FEA behind the cast member who holds a sign saying "line starts here." A few people from Akershus jumped into line ahead of us right when it opened and they were walking us up, but no biggie we were still on the ride within seconds, and by the time we got out of the ride the wait time was up to 45 minutes.

Best to arrive at Akershus by 7:45 so you can check in first thing, and then as PP mentioned, ask for check at beginning of meal. Try to enjoy your meal and meeting the princesses as you are paying for that, but you should be able to be done by 9, and may be a little behind if RD is at 8:45/8:50, but should still not be that far behind.

If entering Epcot via the International Gateway for a PPO reservation at Akershus, does this also apply? I guess my real question is: typically what is the earliest you can expect to be admitted through the IG for, say, an 8:00 am reservation?

I'm 100% going to try this. We managed to score an 8:10am reservation but I'm nervous because I'll have a 20 month old who may foil my plans. :headache: Worst case, husband gets in line while I tame her and she finishes up a Mickey waffle (or I'll stick a waffle in my pocket, hahaaa).

We asked for our check as soon as we sat down for our 8AM breakfast- we had 3 kids (4,4,1), 3 adults, one allergy kiddo, and were able to see all the princesses and 2 of the kids did the princess parade thing, before we headed out. It was approx. 8:55 when we got out of breakfast, and we walked right into FEA with zero wait. By the time we finished the ride, the line was into Norway!

I intend to do the same on our next trip!

I am wondering this myself. I was only able to get a an 8:30, so I was planning on booking a FP just in case we go out to a long line. Not going to rush to get to it though.

We had an 8:05 at Akershaus back in July when we could not get a FP for FEA. They let us into the park at 7:55, and we power walked to Norway:scared:. We were seated right away and I asked for the check. Our server was wonderful, she went above and beyond to accommodate our timely arrival for FEA. Although we were able to make it work, I would not do it again. The princess breakfast was a special experience, and we probably should have spent more time enjoying the moment instead of stressing about the FEA line. We are planning a 'redo' this summer; this time around we will not fast forward through the princess parade. Live and learn.
