FEBRUARY 2016 Car Rental Code/Rates Thread/Watch

2/20-2/29 at MCO. 9 full days, same dropoff time as pickup. Alamo Vegas Brazil code and $25 Entertainment book coupon for specialty cars. $268.98 all in for a minivan. :-) It dropped about $60 from the time I originally booked it and I just rebooked at this new price.

Please help me find something!! Flying into Tampa next Sat and my parents need an economy or larger but prices are over 400.-- We have BJS, AAA but n Costco.... help-
Feb 13-19th is what they need

PHEWWWWW after playing around a ton I got an Alamo rental using the vegas brazil code ( I am so scared something will go wrong) and the 15.00 entertainment code someone posted (thank you op) and I got them an economy for 175.00 for the week!

I keep checking but still at $276.57 total for a mini van with Enterprise for 2/10-18. Love that they include a spouse at no added fee. Guess I'll stick with it and throw in my towel......time to think about packing instead! :yay:

Badamon, I see $237.32 on Alamo using Vegas Brazil and a $25 coupon from the Entertainment book. There could be other coupons out there if you don't have a book from 2015 or 2016.

If I use the las vegas brazil code for alamo am i going to be questioned when i pickup the car? Will i need a drivers license from las vegas or brazil?

Thanks for sharing that, Propro! I still like my Enterprise rate because it includes my DH as additional driver. I don't have an Entertainment book, but just may purchase this year. I see quite a few people using them here.

This has a free additional driver too. I used the National/KLM code for years and had to switch after that awesome code passed on. I prefer National because I can walk right to the lot and pick up a car. Alamo has the extra steps in between, even though they're both owned by Enterprise.

Anybody finding any price drops for February? I just booked an intermediate with Budget using carrentalsavers for $137.72 (2/18 - 2/22). Solo trip so that should be fine. Now to cancel my dollar $183.53 and National $190 that I've been holding on to.

I've only seen the prices go up from what I booked last month. If there are any drops I would think it would be after the holiday weekend.

I personally have always done online check in w Alamo and just gone out go garage and chose car of my liking and drove to exit gate, is this different than enterprise?

Costco Alamo had a drop for us last week but it's higher again this week. The drop was nothing outstanding though.

Are there ever any daily coupon codes? I am looking for one for 2/29, just for the day. I'd like to use Alamo if possible.

Costco dropped for our Alamo rental last week and now it is up again. Hoping it drops again even further for our rental next week.
I have never used Alamo - only Hertz. Hertz picks the car and always has the childseat waiting in the car for us. How does it work with Alamo if you go out and choose your car? Where do you pick up the childseat?
