SO many updates!!! Loved the Hoop de Doo photos....Ariana the Can-Can girl!!!! Teppan Edo looks delish. We debated that, but decided we wanted to do F&W on Epcot day. LOVE the Test Track photo with all my favorite Dis'ers in one place! and The arm band photo is just perfect of all four of you having so much fun. Okay, I got sersory overload just looking at your photos of the lights...cannot imagine being there in the middle of all of it!

Catching up on your TR! Prayers going out for your friend who was injured at work, I hope he is doing better?!?

He is doing OK. he is up and talking. So that's HUGE! it was a BAD month! too many deaths and injuries. January is not my favorite month!

I love, love, love the Osbourne Lights ! I was hoping to meet up with you that night as I had something special with me to pass on to you so that you and Meggie can be Twinnies on future Disney trips . But you could barely move around back there. You got some amazing photos of some things I didn't even notice, I stayed in one place for an hour just taking it in. I should have went down the side streets a couple more times.

Girl, I am the SAME way! I love series books, I have since I was a kid. If you can gimme some examples of series you like, I might be able to throw some recommendations your way!

I am replying to the both of you on this one!! Along with a backstory.
So EONS ago when Twilight the movie came out we tried to sit and watch it. We ended up turning it off --- was SO stupid. Im an Anne Rice Fanatic. Vampires DO NOT SPARKLE! or growl for that matter, or many things these "vampires" do. A friend of mine was a fan. I mercilessly made fun out of her. Well we had a bet going -something i cannot remember what- but the end result was IF I LOST I HAD TO READ the Twilight Books.
I lost.
So i ended up reading all whatever books, i will say the books are much better then the movie. THAT is all i will say. Regardless i Promised myself i won't read these young adult books again. Even if HARRY POTTER was the STUFF!
Then the hype of 50 Shades of Grey came out. Well i was intrigued...
Worst books EVER WRITTEN. I was reading the book while re-writing it in my head to make it at least SOUND like a mature adult wrote them.
Movie was even worse.
Thankfully there is a series called -gabriel inferno by Sylvain Reynard - a three or 4 book series which are AMAZING it's along the lines of boy meets girl yet has some issues. SO WELL WRITTEN!
Let's get on to the NOW-
I saw the movie when it came out. I thought it was interesting i like that kind of stuff. Yet remembering the horror or Twilight i brushed it aside.. Then the TV show came out. Again i like the plot. so I went ahead and binge read Shadow hunters...
I liked them!!!
BUT! When there are books. several of them i MUST FINISH.. I cannot go into the real world UNLESS i am DONE with the books. Which of course consumes me completely.
Now i am in the fog of not being inside a story...
I do have a compulsion problem when reading..

Glad to know it was books keeping you away. I was starting to get worried about you. I am the same way with books. One after the other. I like to start the series after they are all done being written. Do not like to wait for the next one.

I love all of your Osborne Lights photos. I feel like I got to see more of the lights through your photos than when I was there. I don't know if it was because it was the last year or what, but you are right it was CROWDED. Both Ethan and Erik were close to having panic attacks in the crowd so we didn't spend as much time there as I would have liked. Now they are gone.....

I did take her to the doc yesterday as i was fearful of something worse. Thankfully she doesn't have a temp like some of you are dealing with. So she is on antibiotics for a while and can't play volleyball of course.

Just know that after you read the Black Jewels trilogy, if you love it as much as I do... There are currently SIX more companion books that follow it. Prequels, side stories, books of short stories, etc. You'll be busy for a WHILE.

Also from Anne Bishop, the Ephemera trilogy is really good too, if you want to add that to your Amazon list. (The three books are "Sebastian," "Belladonna," and "Bridge of Dreams.")

She's currently writing a series known as "The Others" which the fourth book is due out in March, I think. I haven't read that one yet, but it's high on my priority list! I'll probably be getting into it here soon!

All this talk about books is making me sad for, alas, I have no more room for new books on my bookshelf I'm currently trying to remedy this but apparently I went through a chick lit buying phase because that's pretty much all I have, except for 2-3 Stephanie Plum books with some Sookie Stackhouse thrown in. Have you read any of the Miss Perigrine's books?? I really like those as well. DH has just started reading the Kingdom Keeper series and seems to like those as well.

Amazing pictures of the Osbourne Lights! We have some of those Mickey Glasses, they are so fun, and you are brilliant to use them as a filter for your camera.

Ours came in our gift bag and we wore them when we watched Wishes!

I haven't updated in a while, we have a winter break so I hope to update, but I am busy painting the boys bedroom, fun fun fun!

Sorry you are feeling sick, this year is terrible for colds and sinus infections it seems. My Preschool class has all had terrible snotty noses and bad coughs, but they still come to school. I feel more like a nurse than a teacher...
