TTC to Fort Wilderness?

We are staying offsite but planning to have Thanksgiving dinner at Trails End. What's the best way to get to FW from the TTC parking lot?

As a friend of my Dad's used to say "You can't get there from here." Actually, you can, but if you are at MK, the easiest way is to take the boat directly to FW. From the TTC, you could take the monorail to Contemporary and then the boat to FW, or the monorail to MK and the boat. You could take your car to FW parking lot from the TTC parking lot.

We were wanting a more scenic trip that just driving and parking at FW, which is why I was wondering if there was a boat between the TTC and FW. But, boaing to MK and then FW would be fun too.

option 1:
Monorail > Contemp
Boat > FW

option 2:
Monorail or Ferry > MK
Boat > FW

If MK is super busy that day (likely) I'd go with option 1. If you do option 2, just make sure you get in the FW launch line and not WL or you'll REALLY be taking the scenic route.

I personally like the small launch boats they use between the resorts. The other option is go to MK, get on bus to Wilderness Lodge, then get on bus to the settlement. Especially if it's cold outisde, this might be a better option, but not very scenic. Or you could take the boat from WL... but if you want really scenic, you could take the mile long stroll from WL to the Settlement.
And Yes there is a bus between Wilderness Lodge and MK... people there think they're too good to have to take a boat back to thier resort.... For a while the Orange/WL bus used to exit WL and go to the TTC as part of it's route. I took that one many times. I don't remember the reason why they had it though.
