The jungle cruise, Tom Sawyer's island, riverboat and the railroad are closed...not sure what else?

The tiki room also. Carousel of progress and Hall of Presidents?

They refused to let you in because you were in costume or because you were entering before 4:00p with only a party ticket? The distinction is important in addressing the PP's concern, who will have a regular ticket as well.

Sorry I had responded earlier in post and forgot to add the rest to this response. I was in costume and had an annual pass. They probably would have let me in if i used the regular entrance, but I have no way to know since I didn't have time to walk that far. I do know that the cm told me the event turnstiles could not let me in via annual pass alone.

Has anyone purchased the party memory maker at the park instead of the ttc? We have our tickets, and will be riding a resort bus to the party bypassing ttc. I heard someone mention purchasing it somewhere at MK, not sure where, and if it's before or after the entrance?

Hello everybody, just wanted to drop in and say WE HAD A BLAST! Got to see Jack n Sally(second in line), then we rode rides and saw the Hocus pocus show, the Fireworks and Parade, Just a great night! And yes Jack and Sally came out around 5pm so do get there early and you could probably do both them and the Dwarves. We saw so many great costumes too. Hope all of you going have a great time too!

So we are ging to the party on 10/27. We didn't get a park ticket for that day. Just our party ticket since we fly in that mornng and by the time we get to the hotel it will be 3ish. We plan on ging to MK around 4. Can we still get fast passes before the party starts? MDE let me book them, but I wasnt sure if we would actually be able to use them. The only one we really want to use is Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, 5:25-6:25, and maybe Space Mountain at 4:15-5:15 if we get there in time.

My family had a great time at the party on Friday. We decided Friday morning that we would go since the weather seemed to be looking good for Friday night. The party sold out but the crowds really did not seem bad. We got a spot for the 1st parade near frontier land about 20 minutes before it started. We were in the second row of people but had a great view because the first row all sat down. We followed the parade back to the castle for the Hocus Pocus show and got a front row spot, which was awesome! We were able to sit during the fireworks and we also caught the 2nd parade with about a 10 minute wait and got to sit for it, too. We managed to do tons of trick or treating, met Tarzan and Jane (not interested in other characters), and got lots of pictures in our costumes. We watched the last Hocus Pocus show and then leisurely walked down main street to leave. The line for the monorail looked really long but it didn't take long at all. We also got the Hocus Pocus magic bands which are perfect! I didn't really like the design on the t-shirts, but I think it looks really good smaller on the band.

So I am trying to plan out our night, would the later Hocus Pocus shows be less crowded? Does it matter? We plan on the second parade, not sure if that coincides with any of the shows.

ETA: Could we watch Hallowishes, then see the 10:40 Hocus Pocus show, then grab a spot for the parade? We don't need to be up front for the parade, just want to be able to see what's going on. Not really familiar with the parades to be honest, but I know I want to see it!

Oct.1 party we came in the park at 2:30 with our costumes, with regular day tickets and were dressed for Halloween. We had been to the park earlier in the day also. I had an ADR for CP at 3:45. I wanted to meet Tigger, with my tigger costume. So shouldn't be a problem to show up with costumes on earlier in day as long as u have a day ticket.

We did this, watched Celebrate the Magic and Hallowishes to the left of the Hub...after fireworks as people left we moved to more center and sat and waited for Hocus Pocus show...then immediately after HP as people started milling around we crossed the street and grabbed a spot at the curb near the bridge towards the Tea Cups. Watched the parade from there, then after it ended we made it to Space Mt, met the rest of our group and rode 2x.

Did you buy a regular day ticket to enter early for the ADR or had you been at another park earlier that day?

What is the best strategy wiht two young kids (4 and 8) to see the first parade, hocus pocus show and fireworks?
I might be overwhelmed but I can't get this organized in my mind...where to sit. We can wait if we need we are not doing characters.

I'm glad they let you in early and i just had someone giving me bad info that day! I'm already antsy for next year :/ I may be a MNSHHP addict....
