I like that idea! I wonder if you can find Disney themed "ugly sweaters"? lol

Surely someone on etsy has thought of this. The ugly sweater Disney t-shirt would be pretty easy to make, I think.

What a great idea! I am not a very creative person, so these ideas would have never crossed my mind. My great idea, was I would wear green and he would wear red, with possibly opposite scarf colors and I would wear stripped red and white leggings...boring.

That isn't boring, it sounds cute! My idea just involves making a ridiculous fool of myself, so I think we just have different creative processes, but yours is still good.

I'm confused about FP's and the party...I was under the assumption that you couldn't use FP+ at MVMCP, but I'm seeing some people say you can. Is it just from 4-7 that you can, or all night?

And I asked this in a different post, but maybe some of you will know the answer as well...if you go into MVMCP at 4:00 using your party ticket, how does the scanner know to use that and not your regular tickets, making you lose a day?

Yes, just between 4 and 7.

Will our tickets/FPs load onto our old magic bands? i know that at some point they expire now - they were first used on 11/14/2014 and last used 5/17/15.

Thanks! I just ordered my MVMCP tickets and made sure to get hard tickets to bring with me! Do I also use those for FP's, or can I use my Magic Band for those? I guess it doesn't matter, they will be linked to both, right?

Correct, doesn't matter once you are inside!!

Making a girls' trip (with my mom & two aunts) to my Aunt's beach house 12/11-13. Just "casually" suggested to my Aunt (who's even more of a Disney nut than I am) that it's too bad we can't convince my mom to make a day trip (it's about 1.5 hours) to MK to go to the 12/11 MVMCP (my mom is basically the boring one out of her sisters and they always give her a hard time, we basically informed her that she was coming on this trip whether she wanted to or not ... went to MNSSHP last year with my DH & kids and while I'd love to go with them, it seems like this might be an opportunity not to be missed! But... it's my Aunt's trip, so I'll have to leave it up to her now. *fingers crossed* Send a little pixie dust my way!

Nothing is "on" your Magic Bands - they're just a link to what's on your MDE account. Old Magic Bands don't expire - you can use them or any other ones you might have.

They might not expire, but apparently they don't want you to have more than 3 "active" sets linked to your account. I had like 9 active sets linked to mine in May and the CM who checked us in at the WL kind of "scolded" us and told us we should deactivate the older ones, lol.

I'm not sure if too many do. I've only been to one party about 3 or 4 years ago. I do know that our ugly sweaters we wore to that party were much appreciated by all the CMs.

So basically, don't dress up because you think other people are doing it, and don't dress up if you might feel awkward if everyone else is wearing non-Christmasy clothes. But if you want to, I think it'd be awesome!

This is my first time attending MVMCP and I have been waiting for reservations for Be Our Guest to open up between 7PM-9PM. I just saw under the hours that they added "Dinner Special Ticketed Event 7:00-9:00PM". Does that mean they will release the reservations soon?
