Looks like they have a new web site, whats odd is when looking at the Nov 2 2015 Bahama cruise all of the room categories are GTY. Sooo are they not letting one pick their room like in the past?

Some people are being directed to the new site. Others are still being directed to the old site.

On the old site (that's where I'm directed to) I see interior and verandah rooms available. I can select specific rooms in the 11A category. Some categories are GTY. GTY is offered when a certain percentage of rooms within a specific category are booked. Since this cruise is not very far away, I'd say they've reached that level of bookings.

It's possible they are doing some kind of A/B testing of the site. I have yet to see the new one.

Tonight I tried to do a fake booking on the new sight and discovered that they don't allow you to pick a dining option, book transportation, select air travel or insurance.

They have a lot of work to do on this site.

As Princess Shmoo said...some of us, no matter what we do, can't get to the new site. I check all the time and I still get the old site....cleared everything and it still brings me to the old site.

I was continuing to get the old sight through Firefox, but as soon as I cleared cookies, etc I got the new one. I love that I can book more than 1 cabin at a time.

I can see the new site on Safari now, but I can't even get a booking process started. I am glad that I don't currently need the site for anything. It is quite amazingly faulty still.

I was like mmouse37. Despite deleting cookies and other attempts using Chrome & IE, I was not able to access the new website. So this morning, I searched for Disney Cruise Line using Firefox and clicked on the link....saw a brief message pop up that said something like exchanging analytics with DCL website, then waiting for DCL website. After a long wait, maybe 2-3 minutes, the new website popped up! Woohooo! Note that if I use Chrome or IE, I am still directed to the old website.

ETA...After accessing the new website using Firefox, I went in to Chrome and deleted all browsing history, cookies and caches AGAIN and then Googled Disney Cruise line and viola! new website using Chrome now!

I found last night that if you log in to "My Disney Experience" first, and then open the DCL website, then you get the new website. If you then clear all browser cookies, you get the old website.

I was going back and forth between the two versions of the website. For some reason, the new website wasn't displaying all of the Port Adventures that were listed in the old website. (They all appeared on the list on the new website when I went to actually book them, though.)

I just got the new website today(I have been checking) and I prefer it. It offers GTY rooms for sailings in March as well. I also like it because the pictures of the staterooms are accurate now. Especially on the Magic. And now you have more freedom when looking at dates to sail. And you should be able to pick your own room as well as location on the boat, unless they are running low on availability.

If you like looking at the special offers, I would keep the old site. The new site doesn't have a place for you to enter codes for special offers!

Where on the old site did you enter codes for special offers? I always just looked under "Special Offers" to see what there was. That's still available, just scroll down to the bottom of the page.

On the old site, there was a place to put in codes on the "Find a Cruise" page. The results don't always match what is listed on the special offer pages.

The new site magically appeared today in all 3 of my browsers, unfortunately. Maybe it's a matter of getting used to it, but so far I hate it. Is there any way to input the cabin number you want to book? I know that certain staterooms they are not showing on a cruise I select are in fact available, but they don't appear as available or not when I choose a category and deck and location. Are we limited to only those they show?

I just debunked the clear cache and cookies bit...I went to check my reservation and started out with the 'old' page. When I logged out I was directed to the 'new' page. It seems like they're adding more people to the list for admission to the new page...

It appears that option (to see if a specific room is available) is no longer an option. :(
