Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Well it's 2:03am and I think I am done with the FastPass + reservations. It wasn't hard as you had said but I didn't "calm down" till I signed out...lol. I did not get A&E...completely gone before I even had a chance. My little one will be crushed. :guilty: I did however book the Frozen Sing-a-long as a FP at DHS......good or bad decision? I just wanted to make sure she did have a chance to see them somehow. Let me know if I've made a mistake. I have no idea if I spaced the passes too close together or too far apart...LOL. Planning around shows like Nemo and FOLK...I have no idea how long they run...but hopefully all will work out in the end. Optimism, correct?:sunny: HUGE Thanks to all you wonderful BC/YC 'ers who helped me with my questions. You helped ease the stress. Can it be October now?? Okay, I'm rambling and its after 2am...first day of school tomorrow...I'm going to look just lovely at the bus stop, coffee in hand!

I went to MK at the beginning of December. I did get an A & E fastpass, but it was at 10 or 11 pm. When we arrived for our fast pass time the line wasn't even long. (The night was chilly and rainy)It might be worth checking out the lines late in the evening. I know that meeting A & E was very important to my dd. Good luck! Keep checking fast pass selections... maybe an A & E will come up.

The singalong was so fun. My dd (7) loved it. I did too.

When I did my fastpass selections I set my alarm for midnight and had to work the next morning. LOL. The things we do for our kiddos.

I was momentarily caught up but I think I am 5 pages behind again!

Oh, well, that's going to have to wait because tomorrow morning I am on my way to Florida.

Can't wait to see my buddies and to meet some new friends.

Anyone have any requests for me to check out? I'll try to get a definite price on a case of water from the Marketplace, the make of the daybed, early morning bus and boat times if I have a chance.

Everyone have a great week!

:cheer2:
Have a wonderful time!!!

We have similar plans! We arrive on Friday the 11th, I added an extra day so we can enjoy a full day of SAB on Saturday:woohoo:and Magic Kingdom on Sunday. We leave for the Dream on Monday..second year in a row. We absolutely love it! I hope you convince your husband, your family will really enjoy it. They are the cleanest ships and really take hand sanitizing seriously!! Maybe we'll bump into each other. I have two girls, 6 princess: and 8 princess:they will be the wild ones at the pool!! lol
That sounds wonderful!! My son I think will be old enough for the kids programs next year On the cruise ships. I have a daughter 8 yo too! She will be on the pirate ship slide I'm sure -- our first time at the BC.

Glad you got through it!! Sorry about Anna and Elsa! You should try to get a pre park opening meal at BoG (you can order only as much food as you want, not per person) -- then you will be back by fantasy land for park open and can run over to the line :)

No matter how many times I schedule them there is a rush of adrenaline involved in the booking.
I think the Sing A Long FP is a good one. You can get better seats. BUT, you still need to be in line early for it to pay off. If you have a FP and arrive late you'll sit just where ever you find a spot. Only when they first open the theater does the FP area pay off in that you'll have a chance to sit up front before the nonFP folks come in.
Keep checking for A&E. I had one for our trip earlier this month and DH talked me in to dropping it. It was our 3rd trip this summer and I foolishly thought like he did, DGD7 wouldn't be so worried about meeting them again. Turned out we were wrong, (of course) and she did want to meet them so I stalked during our trip. I got one a day or two away. So you just never know. Plus, Disney is forever tweaking schedules, adding times, etc. They can also see the need to schedule an additional pair of friends of A&E, if they aren't at full schedule already. If they do that you'll see more spots pop up. So check all the time. And as folks said, check for the smallest number in your party that you can. That also increases your odds.
If worse comes to worse and you can't get one the lines are not AWFUL anymore. The days of 3-4 hour waits for them are gone, thankfully. They may still be 60 at times but most of the time they are less. We thought during Wishes would be a good time to meet them but that turned out to be a bust. Lines were the longest then while we were there.

We used a fp for this last week and there was no difference between the fp seats and the standby seats. The lines to enter are different but they just funnel you into one holding area with everyone and then the doors open and everyone goes in. It's still a good use of a fp if it's a must do and you are worried about missing the show though.

Hi all!
I wanted to relate my Beaches & Cream saga to people who would understand. I'd booked at 180 and the only availability was 4:20. It had to be today - our non-park day & perfect way to cap off our Blizzard Beach day. But I wasn't happy with 4:20... I wanted 5:00. I know ...

About 10:15 Sun night a 5:00 pops up!!! But it says I need to call to cancel my 4:20 :scared1:. Quickly cancel my 4:20 & go to reserve the 5:00 &. Not only that, but the 4:20 is gone too. My DH: oh well. Me: >:(.

So I decide to be Elsa & let it go... Fastforward to DHS yesterday... Pouring rain, sopping wet as we eat at MM. A 5:00 pops up again & it will be mine!!! Except... ERROR. ERROR. :furious:.

Fastforward 30 mins later & it pops up again. Disconnect from Disney's craptastic wifi & SUCCESS!!:worship:

End result - best meal & CM ever!!

So glad to hear you got your meal!!! So maybe it isn't impossible to get a table meal last minute at Disney :) great photo! Hope the meal was great too!

Google magical deal, maybe add in the words Disney, and even "agency exclusive" and see what you come up with :) It's elusive as we can not mention names on the forums. My agent said that next year's deals will likely go live at the end of sept for labor day next year, and in october for other 2016 deals.
got it, thanks!!

thanks for the tip on the sing along FP. we have one, but I would have thought we didn't need to line up ahead! if crowds are low is it worth it?

Ah, that must be a change since they moved to the new location. When they were in the older theater we went in a different door and were able to set up front. We used a FP earlier this month but we were not early, doors were already open when we got over there so I didn't know it was different.

Based on the comment above probably not but worth it also depends on is there something else you'd use your FP on. It's not necessary but if you gotta have something for that 3rd one it's as good as any other.

We had a great trip last week! The hotel was amazing and we got our request of a daybed. When checking in we asked for it and he was able to give it to us as long as we didn't mind the standing balcony. No problem for us! My DD (13) and DS(5) did end up sitting out there together and watching lightening a few nights. They just sat on the floor and put their backs to the door.

Room was nice and clean. Housekeeping was awesome! We tend to keep our room tidy but appreciated the fresh towels and beds being made up.

The location to Epcot is just as great as described. We walked there in no time at all and the bag check/turnstiles were so nice and uncrowded. We ended up leaving epcot one day much sooner than we had planned so we could sneak back to the pool and swim. No complaints from the kids there!

Pool was great! Never an issue finding a chair or two. My son loved the lifejackets provided and honestly I felt more comfortable with him in one since the pool is so large. We are always with him in the water, but it made me feel better knowing he had one on just in case. He must have gone down the slide about 20 times!

I think we have found our new home base for Disney world. We are already hoping to go back next year!

So does this mean that the deals for before Sept 2016 have already been advertised to clients? Or not yet? I am late to the magic and we are looking at June or July next year. Feel free to PM me. Thanks.

Or not yet?

Not yet. I think they have one released for the first week of January. I emailed about May and was told they may release for 2016 in October (except for the labor day deal, which will be a bit sooner--- I think that's their main offering).

At the airport delayed. The plane took off then landed within 20 minutes. They said something is wrong with the door. Apparently they are fixing it and we are due to leave at 1250. We initially took off at 810 am.

I'm about to cry. DD9 is about to melt into the ground.

I already pushed back our splash fp. I'm hoping we make it in time for BOG dinner.
