Disney Tattoos

Wow
I got a couple more Disney ones last week.

Being an Epcot geek, and to go with my Epcot logo/symbol one, I designed a abstract pattern based on the Spaceship Earth tiles to go next to it:

And whilst I was there, I filled a gap on the back of my leg with one I've been wanting for a while. I have seen a couple similar to this, but designed my own outer border and took the Mickey image from the original film.

I'm quite happy how they both turned out :D[/QUOTE
Wow...nice original ideas! I love the old fashion Mickey and the Epcot symbols are really cool!

Sorry, these aren't the best pictures, I really need to take them on a camera and not my horrible phone. They came out a bit faded, but they're not at all. All of the color has actually held very well, so it's the lighting in the photos that makes them look faded. And Ariel's hair was just re-outlined as well, so that's why it looks so bold. There's still so much more work to do, but we're getting there!

Yesterday I had most of the tentacles done which were done on the inside of my bicep and elbow. Would have gotten more done but my tattoo artist had somewhere to be and had to cut it short :(. I have another appointment in 3 weeks! But I think we have at least 6-10 more until I'm done as we still have lots of room on my arm to fill in. I love how the sea horses came out, there were just faded outlines since the beginning, I had no idea they were going to be colored in so cutely!

Incredible Color! I don't think I've seen such vibrant work.

I'm still trying to decide what to get and where! This site helps me with ideas....so thanks. I've been trying to design my own....but placement is difficult because you don't know how it will look, say wrapped around your arm versus being on flat paper. And....with summer here, I've heard you can't get them wet or be in the sun. What have folks experienced with healing in the summer?

For at least 2 weeks, your tattoo shouldn't be exposed to direct sunlight. Your tattoo can get wet while healing, it just shouldn't be submerged in water. Definitely no pools, hot tubs, oceans, or lakes.

I've gotten two tattoos during the summer, but they're in areas where it's not bothersome or hot to cover up when outside. If you don't think you can easily follow aftercare instructions during the summer, just wait until fall or winter.

The original part of my Little Mermaid tattoo is all colored in now. We still have a touch-up appointment booked to fix up anything that needs it and to make sure everything contrasts nicely after it's healed. We're going to add Max and Scuttle to my shoulder blade, the statue of Eric under my arm, and finally King Triton's trident to the back of my forearm near my elbow. Then this arm will be finished! Everything on the arm is "water" related which is why I'm adding the Price Eric statue since Ariel eventually has that in her treasure cave. Scuttle and Max are "above water" on my shoulder-blade. I already have a few more Disney tattoos lined up, but this one has definitely kept me busy for a while!

<---- "Peace, Love, & Mickey" on my ankle.

I also have the UP house & balloons on the front of my leg.

I have to say, these tattoos are amazing!!! I wish I could say I have a Disney one(out of 12, I haven't gotten one yet!) but maybe eventually!
