Sunday 26th Sea day. Random thoughts.
I of course will be posted less today as it is a sea day.
Overnight we had a storm with heavy rain, you could hear it, I went out at midnight to see the bridge from my verandah all I could see was the Aura P&O cruise ahead of us and a flashing green light for the channel. It was dark, raining and rough.
I went to sleep post that, motion wise we have not had any effect but it's noticeable on the lower decks, random movements and if you look out of the windows you see the movement more.
It's not pleasant out there now, looks like a ship inside day.
I am only going to post limited notes in this but there was a ship wide announcement about 11.30 pm, including in all staterooms, of " Brightststar " I know what that means but they added , Brightstar Deck1 zone.... very serious.
I wish the family all the best. UPDATE a CM see below is OK.
We have a character VIP breakfast in Animators plate at 9.15 with Mickey and the gong our server will look after us,
Today Inside out is being shown in the WDT at 1.45, it's been added I think re the weather.
We have a concierge cocktail party 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm, in Keys with a special " Disney visit" ( normally says a character)
Last night we had the Animators palate dinner on rotational menus and it's so good on the upgraded Magic clear screens and lots of colour. The show was a guest Hector is Magic, he is from Spain, is very good, they got a close up camera on him and it was shown behind him on the screen and the two side screens and he is very very good and very fast.
We have been booked on a backstage Walt Disney theatre tour which is for all of us, including a minor, looking forward to that, concierge say it's the first time it has been run for a while.
Ship Internet as you can see is good but drinks the MBs fast.
Great cruise so far the only downside is the weather.
I keep bumping into previous Servers and CMs they are all coming over and saying hello which is very nice.
Food has been ten out of ten so far, fresh supplies came on at Copenhagen, shops were closed a lot o
In Copenhagen and will be closed two days in St Petersburg so with the weather I expect them to be very busy today. After this day is a port every day, Stockholm, Helsinki, and St Petersburg then Tallinn.
I thank everyone who has been reading or viewing here or on the blog or my FB, and we will post navigators and higher quality photos post cruise, which we cannot post at this time.
BTW The navigator APP for messaging is very good, you just go to chat get your number, your family is listed and go, if you want yo chat to others not in your stateroom just give them your number, it's fast and a good App.
