Singles/Solos/Adults Food&Wine 2015 Roll Call!

I think I've got everything updated. Just snagged my MNSSHP tix this afternoon! I'm planning towards a pretty easy costume this year. Forget the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' ... I'm targeting to be the 'Savior of the Universe' ! ... Sam Jones 80's FLASH GORDON. I'm hoping there's some Peter Quill costumes in the house the night I'm attending the party ... love to get a pic of Star-Lord V Flash!

For any of the folks reading, I'm planning as usual to bring down a couple cases of craft brew, Mike's, vodka / rum etc ... and the Brocktoon RV will be in a preferred campsite at FW up near Pioneer Hall. If anyone is near the Bay Lake area while I'm around ... feel free to stop by for a drink and hang out

The French breakfast was great last year ... but I think it was way too much food for me in the morning. After mimosa #4 and then chowing down on multiple croque monsieurs with bechamel, breakfast was weighing me down like a ton o' bricks. They haven't released the schedule yet, but currently we're leaning towards:

Party for the Senses (reserved seating) - Currently top priority. Last year we tried for tickets, but it was the 'Disney chefs' weekend and the tickets sold out in under 5-10 minutes. Rumor was that most of the reserved seats that weekend were comped for the Disney Chef's family/friends.

3D Dessert Party (reserved seating) - Don't know if they'll have it this year, or even the Friday I'm down, but if I can't get Party for Senses, I may book the Dessert Party as a back-up. We did this party a couple years ago and loved it. The desserts were hit/miss, but the good ones were great, and there was a ton of dessert wines and liquors.

Shake/Indulge like the French - This was a surprise hit for us last year, and my parents favorite event. If it's like previous years, it'll be on Saturday afternoon in Monsieur Paul's. You get to mix your own fancy Grand Marnier cocktails, and it's paired with some amazing french desserts.

Of course once the official schedule comes out, anything can change, but based on previous years the above events has been favorites. Also may do a few of the $10-15 'deminars' depending what and who is presenting.

My friend and I will be there Sept 27-Oct 3 in a couple of DVC's. It's my first, so I'm pumped. I've started saving already.

I will be there for several days before I board the Disney Dream for a short cruise. Although I enjoy F&W I'm really looking forward to the cruise.

Solo traveler here for the Wine and Dine weekend. I wasn't able to get a bib, but I already planned everything, so I'll just enjoy the festival instead! It's November 5 - 8. I'll be staying at the CL Coronado Springs and attending the Christmas party November 8th. Hoping to eat my weight in food since I won't be running!!!

My husband and I will be down oct 21-26, staying at beach club. We currently plan to spend at least 3 days of that at Epcot for food and wine. Depending on what we find that interests us we may upgrade to park hopper so we can go every night... waiting to see events/schedules. We are both very excited to see air supply, Fuel and Tiffany.

My BF and I are attending Food and Wine this year (for the 1st time yey)

We're staying at Cabana Bay Beach resort but have got 4 day park hopper tickets and a car so we'll be going at least twice to EPCOT and should be there for one of the days between the 25th - 29th September. I need to make sure I get a pin

Our dates are 16th September - 30 October

Me and the Bf will be there 9/23-9/29. Going to the F&W on Saturday the 26th (God help us). Not doing MNSSHP but I am goi g to HHN on the 9/25 and 9/27 solo since the bf is a big puddin!

Think I've got everything updated. Also, for the folks looking to attend F&W events, the low cost seminar reservations open up 7/24 for DVC, Tables in Wonderland, and season passholders. Everything else opens up on 7/30 at 7AM, and it's usually a madhouse!

Right now for the $15 demos I'm probably going to try for:
- 10/22 12 PM Champagne seminar
- 10/23 6 PM Mixology seminar
- 10/26 2 PM Whiskey/Rum/Bourbon seminar
- 10/26 5 PM Culinary demo (Chef TJ)
- 10/29 6 PM Mixology seminar

For the special events I'm prioritizing:
1) 10/24 PFTS - reserved seating
2) 10/24 Parisian Afternoon (if offered on that Sat.)
... if I can't get the Parisian Afternoon I'll try for the Parisian Breakfast on 10/24
