Your not getting cash off the gift cards. Here is the basic math.

They offer .10 or .20 of a gallon of gas up to 30 gallons. for every $50 in gc you purchase. The .1-.20 off can be cumulative.

So If im planing I Disney trip I Normally buy like 4 - 5k in Disney gift cards

I wait most of the time for them to offer the .20 fuel perks reward.

$5,000 / $50 = 100 gift cards

100 gc x .20 discount = $20 off gas

$20 x 30 gallons = $600 in free gas.

Which is basically 12% off the price of Disney vacation.

No if you combine this with cash back credit card or Disney credit card. the savings can jump by 1-3% also, because the purchase of gift cards is basically in the class of buying groceries. So that's another $50-150 in real moneyish.

Yes, exactly what I do, i use cash back credit card to buy those cards from giant eagle for another 2% cash back. Just bought some yesterday since they are double fuel perks right now.

I get my Disney gift cards at BJs Wholesale. Im a rewards member, so I get 2% back in the form of a BJs gift card. I buy about $6000 worth. They sell $100 gift cards for $95.99.

Money saved in gift cards = $240.60
Money back from BJs = $120.00
And I buy them with my Disney rewards card = $60 reward dollars

Tried to book a November trip with the free dining plan only to find that there is no availability at any resort for the entire month. Really disappointing!!!

You can use what ever tickets you want. I do not think you can use the FD ticket to upgrade an exisiting ticket however I may be wrong. The important thing to remember is if you upgrade your existing ticket and want to keep your FD ticket for another time make sure to have your Premier ticket prioritized so that you do not use your FD ticket by mistake.

Giant Eagle is offering .20 towards fuel parks for gift cards until May 13. Just heard the commercial!

Need opinions. If you had to choose from Contemporary, Poly or GF, which would you choose and why?

Are you moving again????
I'm not familiar with Contemporary. I think GF is pretty, but I'm much more lush Poly kind of girl. If I won a trip I would put GF first cause I don't think I'll even be able to splurge for that or Contemporary. Even if I had enough Disney Rewards Dollars to cover the trip. I'l be rationalizing how I can get two trips instead of one.

I would choose GF. I have always wanted to stay there. It oozes opulence. I would love to be able to do that one day. Ahhhhh, the dreams!

I got up this morning also to book my ADR's. I'm not doing FD so I was looking for a few specifics. I wanted CP before opening. I got 10/30 at 9:10am and 11/2 at 8:35am. I'm trying to get verification that they will let us in before opening for a 9:10am ressie. Anyone have first-hand experience?

I wanted BOG for breakfast, but of course they aren't offering it yet. So I looked for BOG lunch. Was only able to get it on our last day of our trip 11/3. Other few were pretty easy to get. I worked on BOG first and CP second, then the rest. I'll keep looking to see if BOG continues breakfast!

My dates were not available for POR, but I was able to get The Yacht Club with FD for almost the same price as POR & paying for dining. I have never been to DW. I really hope it was the right decision and my kids enjoy the Yacht Club.

DD and her family went early and they got in 20 minutes before their reservation. They loved all of the emptiness. I have wanted to do it for so long and I got so excited last December to have scored one. Every morning during Christmas is a bust for doing this because MK has extra magic hours in the mornings for days in a row. I got mine the very last day before they started it last year. Imagine my disappointment when the redid the calendar a couple of weeks before and added that day as another extra magic hour morning! Hopefully I will have outsmarted them this time and I will also hopefully make someone's day because I booked 2 of those suckers this time! So far, both of those days are good. I just have to wait until they update the calendar for September now. I'll keep one and cancel the other when it comes out. Just praying at this point. Maybe they won't do it for either day and pixie dust can rain down on someone to get in early also.

Yes, there will be a specific line for early ADR entries before the park opens. We did CP early a couple of years ago and it was so cool to be on Main Street with very few others.

I think it depends on what you want. CR is within walking distance to MK. Poly is within walking distance to Monorail to Epcot. GF is lavish. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them, though. It sounds like a great problem to have!

How many in your party? I saw BOG the 4 days leading up to your 11/3 reservation. I plugged in 5 for lunch.

Not for this year. If I cant get a FD BB but can get a 35% off deluxe for a BB then I want to book a deluxe on the monorail.
