I have a dumb question. The status under your name, like Mouseketeer, are there any directions behind that? For example, is "Earning my Ears" the first step? When did I earn "Mouseketeer", and what is the hierarchy after that? I tried searching the Disboards but I'm not finding it.

I believe you're "Earning Your Ears" until you hit 100 posts. I don't remember how many posts between Mouseketeer and when you'll go to Dis Veteran.

I've always booked directly through Disney for all of our vacations but after reading the perks of working with a TA I'm rethinking things. Can you get better deals with a TA than just booking through Disney directly?

I did get a very good fall offer on room and ticket package but you cannot buy the dinning plan on it so u have to do your math. We are paying out of pocket for food and I'm very happy with it. They get you what is called a convention rate.

I have to wake up and do my ADRs tomorrow, not sure what to check first. ADRs or special offers. I was excited to see I had modify button online Friday.
It was allowing me to modify everything from resort, dates, tickets, dining, to adding any new special offers!!
I didnt make changes yet but was nice to see I could.
I would have to dump one day of our trip 10/24 based on rumors but it saves us between 800 and 2K depending where we stay so worth it

I do not see the modify button either. We are booked under a UOC and have not paid it off. I wonder if that might have something to do with it.

Also I had a question on BB Offers. Do they act like a normal resie where you put $200 down and then can cancel up to 45 days in advance?

I am asking because when we are there I might be able to talk the DW into picking a date range and signing up, but ONLY if the option to cancel is there if the dates do not work out, or we cannot make it happen.

I want to be sure that when I go there, I can use my Dining credits and have my card payment refunded.

My understanding was different from others. I didn't think your card would be credited until you were actually at the restaurant and scanned your MB to use dining credits. (2 per person) is there anyone who has done this lately? Was your cc credited as soon as the dining plan was added to your reservation or not until you dined at CRT?

I'm pretty sure its because they are an international guest. I booked the bounce back and don't have the option to modify either but my friend who is waiting for free dining does see this option.

I have a quick question. If the FD promo does indeed start Monday, and everyone starts call bombing Disney at 7am, are the phone lines going to be massively jammed? Is there going to be a lot of waiting on hold? My wife's job starts at 8, and doesn't want to miss the excitement, but she also doesn't want to be late for work. Thanks guys.
