Babnanas 11: "Boo-boo's are OUT, Toast is IN….

Is this an individual plan for each student? WOW! What a lot of work (and a PITA).
....no, its for a group of students, with 19 being the minimum size group. I have around 40-50 in each group (with the two 7th grade classes and the two 7th grade classes combined, which makes 2 SGO's) but my principal and supervisor felt that it was not enough so I had to do 4 SGO's instead of 2, like everyone else....where's the equity in that? :confused3

...What a lot of work (and a PITA).
....first, I had to develop [for each SGO] an Excel spreadsheet listing all the students in alphabetical order, their NJASK score from last year, their pretest score (I had to develop, administer, and score a pretest that the students took during the first week), and their grade from the middle of the marking period [since I only have them for 10 weeks, or one marking period]. Then, at the end of the semester [marking period] I had to re-administer that pretest (now called a posttest) and enter that data onto the spreadsheet. The 3 original pieces of evidence (the 3 previously stated test scores) determine what level each student is. I could go on and on about how I determine which level each student is in, but you get the idea....all this data goes on a form [the SGO form] with a predetermined score that a percentage of each level must attain....and I get to do four of these...I have also been redeveloping my assessments [ I have 18 different tests, or 6 for each grade], including the Common Core curriculum Standards and different kinds of questions. On top of that, I looked at my school emails and was notified that I am going to be observed next Friday, so I have been doing my lesson plans for the 3 grades for next week.....needless to say, this has been one cr*ppy week...

....was I supposed to post those Easter pix here, or on some other thread? I can't remember....:confused3

THanks for sharing. Great Easter decorations! Love the cabinet your DH built. And I think I need to look for one of those towel rack things. I have decorative throws that I have no idea how to display!

And I can't remember which thread you were supposed to post it in.

Wow, no posts since Monday?!.....where'd everybody GO??! :sail:

Spring has finally arrived in NH!!!! Been in the 60s all week. Drops to the 50s with rain next week but at least the snow is about gone. I'm able to run outside these days, and I may even attempt the rail-trail this weekend (even if there's some snow in the wooded parts, it shouldn't be much). My tulip bulbs and the day-lilies are poking through the yard!! :flower1: I want to put flowers ALL over the yard and deck this year.

Well, just checking in! Hope everyone is well. Happy weekend! :yay:
