Hey guys!

Since we're going for a longer stay than usual, we're not going to have the usual sense of urgency to get around the parks and we're looking to try new places for breakfast during our upcoming trip.

So far, we have:

Crystal Palace
Tusker House (Convenient on our 'AK day')
Kona Cafe
Grand Floridian Cafe
Olivia's

What's your favorite TS for breakfast and what do you get?!

To be honest, my boyfriend and I tend to be light breakfast eaters- usually coffee and bagel type guys. Sometimes we'll have some fruit or dry cereal from the club lounge. However, we do try to schedule a table service breakfast on our last day, especially if our return flight is too early in the day for any quality park time. Since we nearly always stay in the Epcot resorts area, we have eaten breakfast several times at the Captain's Grille at the Yacht Club. They have both a buffet and an a la carte menu. We've never had the buffet (too much temptation to overstuff) but some of the things we've tried are the citrus-scented Challah French toast, the lemon-ricotta hotcakes and (my favorite!) the lobster omelet. We've also gotten sides of turkey sausage and grits. And we like starting our final day with Bloody Marys and Mimosas! Everything we've tried was delicious and the service was very friendly and attentive. ADRs are always good to have, but we haven't found them necessary to dine here for breakfast. I wish I could be more helpful but that's been our only TS breakfast experience in all our visits.

IMO...you cannot do better than Grand Floridian Café. I've tried the Omelette, All American, Citrus Pancakes, Vanilla Laces French Toast and the Frittata...all were amazing.

That's what we usually did. We would go for a week and do two character breakfasts and kona, the other four days were just bagels and coffee. Now with 10 days, we'll have less rush around and figured there might be some nice sit-downs to checkout resorts we've never been to and relax instead of running to the park

My weakness is the breakfast lasagna from Crystal Palace. I mean, it's like a diabetic coma on a plate, but it's so good I don't even care, LOL!! Pooh's puffed french toast is good there too.
We are trying Kona and Tusker House for the first time this trip, too. I will be getting the pineapple macadamia pancakes and pressed pot coffee at Kona, no doubt about it!!

Grand Floridian Cafe is on our list for future trips.

In general I'm not a huge breakfast fan at all, but at Disney it's a nice change of pace.

Have fun and enjoy your trip!!

We really liked Whispering Canyon for breakfast. However we were staying at Wilderness Lodge and I probably wouldn't have chosen it if I had been staying elsewhere just due to the travel times. But it was excellent.

Breakfast is my son's favorite meal... he loved both Crystal Palace and Tusker House last trip and we are going to TH again for breakfast.

Boma and the Wave are probably our favorites ... Boma more so for me.

At Boma, I love the grilled tomatoes and the goat cheese eggs - just different enough to be special.

My husband went crazy for the eggs benedict at the Wave. I think they have a key lime hollandaise.

We ate several times at the Captain's Grill this last trip. It is a laid back buffet with some really delicious cheesy hash browns. You can also get eggs to order, which is nice. However, my daughter made the best choice:

Dark Chocolate Waffles - dried cherry compote, espresso-mascarpone cream, chocolate shavings and a choice of bacon or sausage $10.99

These are NOT on the buffet, so you're really making a tough choice when you don't go to the buffet and get these instead. However, they were really unique and delicious - so much so that she ordered them both times we ate there!

I love the omelettes at the Kona Cafe. I know many people go for the Tonga Toast, but I am not a banana fan.

I couldn't agree more; I am absolutely addicted to the breakfast lasagna. I'm sure glad it's only once a year I get to indulge in this otherwise I wouldn't be able to walk. :goodvibes

@SouthJersey, For the most part I am not a big breakfast eater with a rather boring Cheerios, almond milk and banana just about every day. But when I am in Disney, I usually do a couple of the breakfast buffets to go along with my preference for signature restaurants for dinner. One of my favorites that you don't have listed is Cape May on the Boardwalk. The buffet is decent and I have to admit, I do like the atmosphere here for breakfast. I do Cape May because I really don't like the restaurants at all in HS, I fill up, catch a snack during the day there and then have dinner at a signature outside of HS.

Yeah that's me too. At home, I'm usually strict on my diet because of my life style and sport. So when I vacation, I like to go all out in all regards lol. I'm so used to egg whites, oatmeal and grapefruit every morning that even breakfast is like a new experience lol.

Be Our Guest! Bacon sandwich looks awesome.. and you get a jump on the crowds if you make a reservation before park opening! Danish plate comes included with your meal! :)

I really like Trail's End breakfast. It's one of my favorite places. Kona Café is one of our must do's for breakfast. Usually we get a Big Kahuna & a Tonga Toast and split it. Crystal Palace is also a good choice. The have all the usual breakfast offerings, plus some extra. The Pooh's puff is a must try.
