Disney's ALL-STAR SPORTS RESORT Information & Questions

it's about a 23 minute ride to the MK from sports.
Thanks, this is great information to know to time everything out! I was trying to figure out our timing with MNSSHP. We are going to go to EPCOT on our morning of the party and then got back to the hotel and change, then to the MK. About how long is it from Epcot back to Sports?

I requested Touchdown Building (either one) ground floor. Last solo trip I took I was on the opposite side of the field, ground floor. Nice convenience spot!!
Is this through the online checkin requests? Or is this over the phone request with reservations? Can you actually check "touchdown" as an option, I'm surprised it is so specific. I think that is the area we would also like so I'm planning ahead. Thanks for any help you can give. We are new to Sports.

I know this may be a dumb question but does the bus go direct to MK or does it go to MK ferry/monorail where I have to take second form of transportation to get to entrance? Thank you WEDWDW for previous info!

All the Disney buses drop off right in front of MK. Only the offsite busses drop off at the TTC (requiring you to also take the ferry/monorail.)

Hi Mac! Getting real close for me.
yes, we both get to sports each year but not at the same time.

this coming one is your rescheduled one correct?
how is the knee coming along, how you are doing better.

and, isn't your bd coming up soon?

to keep on the theme of the one question, i booked with the request of touchdown but near the end towards the food court/lobby.

Birthday passed. My knee is doing better. Probably going to need surgery but therapy has helped alot. Yes this is my rescheduled trip. Going solo and going to love it.

About how long does it take to get to each of the parks via bus at ASSp?

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

AK 6-7 minutes
HS 7-8 minutes
Epcot 10-11 minutes
MK 20-21 minutes

In case anyone else is interested, I had to search to find it! There are quite a few things on here that should be updated and put on the first post of this thread. Like the pictures, FAQ type of thing with updated information. Similar to Pop's thread, it is easy to find info on it, but Sports has been harder as you have to search and search.

those times listed by dans dad look on target.
i think i listed 23 minutes for mk for the time we did pick up at movies after getting on at sports for getting to the park.

in all my stays at Sports, only shared a bus maybe twice a stay with the sister hotels.

Yes it was part of the online checkin. I chose touchdown building, ground floor. They are awesome at Sports in honoring your requests.

i booked my adr's today.

hooray!!!

Where are you eating? I have a lunch at Tony's in MK, a breakfast at Kona Café, and a lunch at BOG. Didn't want to book ressies for every day I am there because I am on Weight Watchers and don't want to over do it. Will struggle with the booze though as I love to have tequila at La Cava.:worship:

what i made so far were biergarten, 50's prime time and plaza.
i've done tonys on the last 2 trips and had a great meal, kona didn't have any openings for me for breakfast but i tried.

need to make one more but can't decide which place.
do plan to eat and :woohoo: at f & w.

i go off the diet when at the motherland.....

How are the booths during F&G? I am not going to worry too much about going overboard on the eating or drinking as all the walking will probably keep me good anyways.

yes, another day closer to our trips.
i countdown with fridays for my trips.

F & W is always fun lustergirl.
i do avoid hitting epcot for it on fridays and saturdays due to the long lines they have.
i prefer doing the booths during the week days.
some of the samples you buy are small but so deliicious you end up spending more money than planned
