2016 Trip Check in

We are going the last week of January. It will be my grandchildren's first time there (8, 6, 3). There will be 12 - 15 of our group total. Can't wait. My hubby thinks I'm crazy planning already, but we just booked our rooms Friday, to get the best rate.

We plan on going mid-July (post-17th) and staying at VGC for a week. Planning already. LoVe it that there are 'others' out there that plan this far ahead too. Woohoo!

We already have our Halloween trip for 2016 planned. My friends are coming and they have 3 little girls (I have 1 DS) and I'm so excited to take them to the BBB and meet Tinkerbell and all of the princesses! My 11 year old DS just refuses to get a Disney Princess makeover! :P
We are planning for October 17th - 21st.

YEAH for us 2016'ers. Our family is going for 8 days in December: we will be there the 2nd week of December. I CAN'T WAIT. Staying at the DL Hotel: started saving Jan of this yr. Will try to take in a Ducks NHL game as well: we are a huge hockey family. True DL geek: I keep mapping out the days, where to go first, what to eat when: as I sip my coffee and check out all my DL websites in the mornings. It keeps me motivated to pick up some overtime at work $$. Happy travels to you all!

I hope you can make it to the Halloween Party: such a great time!!

Hey, I do the same thing! LOL Even though, DD and I have been to DL a few times, I still go over our itinerary - nothing is ever written in stone but I just like to see all the days that we can spend at DL! :yay:

We originally planned to go in July again but have now decided to go in August at the end of our WDW trip. Plus, DD and I are toying with the idea of visiting at Easter. This is one season that we haven't tried yet, DD wants to see the Bunnies! :cutie:

Yes, we went in 2013 over Halloween, in looking at all the decorations for Christmas on the websites; that was my next "must do time": now looking at all the Easter decorations, egg hunts, flowers/trees blooming etc: that will be our next/next visit!! Would love to try Aulani in 2018; and my DH and I are planning our 20yr anniversary on a Disney Cruise to Alaska. Kids or no kids that will be the question?!?

Have just started planning a 2016 trip for the end of April/beg May! When I saw that Dapper Day had been moved to 30th Apr/1st May it solidified my plans! That is only 1 week before the Tinkerbell half marathon and I was thinking about a trip for that - now I get to do 2 events in one trip! So looking at arriving the 29th April and staying through till the 9th May. So excited- planning outfits, and what food I want to get, and which rides we need to ride! Feels silly starting to plan out the days already, but it's so much fun!

My first post!! Haha!

Hey everyone! :)

We're going February (early to mid). Surprising my kids at Christmas with it. Either staying at the Tropicana or Del Sol Inn

We are headed down at Christmas for our 3rd time - actually planning to spend Christmas Day in the parks, will be crazy busy! :santa:

DD wants to do a Disney cruise too and since we are closer to the West Coast, we might look into a Disney cruise to Alaska one of these years. We have cruised to Alaska 3X already so just wanted to enjoy the ship and be in the Disney bubble.

The only problem we have is that we want to visit all of the Disney parks but hard to do with work and school schedules! :rolleyes1

Thank you!

Thank you! We were planning on going this past February but finances and life got in the way. :( I've been to WDW once, when I was about 12 (so, 20-ish years ago), but no one else in my family has ever gone to either! I'm so excited to see the looks on their faces when we walk into the park for the first time. :earsgirl::earsboy:

We're planning on April 9-16, my will-be-7-year-old son's spring break. This will be his second trip there (he doesn't know yet, of course!), and the first for his little brother, who will be just three months shy of 3. We are renting a 3br house close to DLR and hoping that other family and friends may be able to join us (my BIL came along on our last trip, and we all had a great time together). Of course, if they can't, we'll all have a fabulous time together! - my husband and I are both looking forward to all that special time with our two little guys!!!

We're planning on a trip late Oct., probably around the 17th or so, for MHP and catch a Ducks and/or Kings game (hopefully both). The wife's already planning our costumes (she'll be making them, plus new Medieval Times outfits; we love that place). Form there it looks like a Disney Carribean cruise in 2017 for our 10th wedding anniversary.

Hi :wave2:

We are planning a trip for June 2016. Right now the plan is to stay at the Park Vue, but I'm not writing off a stay onsite (if we do, it will probably be Disneyland Hotel).

We don't have exact dates yet.
When the time creeps closer I will probably have a million questions...I'm a WDW veteran, and I can plan a trip there in my sleep, but my entire family will be first timers at Disneyland.
I'm really looking forward to seeing where all the magic began pixiedust:

Well, we are going this July and I already know we are going next July before our APs expire on the 18th. So probably for a week right after 4th of July. And if I'm lucky we get down there for a quick long weekend trip in February. The summer after that, we are thinking we will go back to WDW for a second time. So, yes, we plan our Disney trips before we even go on the next one. Oh, we always stay at the Candy Cane Inn so unless something changes there, that's where we'll be.

All updated :)

Where is everyone buying park tickets? I know a lot of times orbitz has a 4th day free promo but i don't see one now. Also when will you buy your tickets? Since we are reserving our hotel with DVC points we will be buying our tickets separately and of course i want to get the best deal!

Thanks Ahhhhshley! :-)

DD and I usually get the Premium Annual Passes since we tend to go to DL twice within a year and we spend 8-10 days in the parks. But I will probably order 5 days park hoppers for my other DD and DH for our December 2015 trip from the Disney website. I know that I can probably get them a few dollars cheaper somewhere else but I like just having the ticket printout and going straight to the gates. Plus, when Orbitz had the free day promo, I had to pay up front and with our exchange rate nowadays, I thought that we should just wait until our Christmas trip gets closer.
