BCV Refurb - Change in studio occupancy?

We will be at BCV in late October in a 2BR and have reserved a studio for a few days for family during our trip. They are a family of 5. Will the occupancy change with the refurb of the studios since they are adding a bed? If not, we can have someone stay with us, we are only 6 in the 2BR so we have room. I am adding one of the kids to our reservation for now since I could only book 4 in the studio, but I was hoping they would be able to stay together in the Studio.

What is the renovation completion date? If not by the date of OP's stay, they may not book for 5.

I am thinking that until they are 100% complete they will not allow booking for 5. I would be concerned if it is very close to the trip it might impact our fastpass+ or dining to try and adjust the reservation, so I will probably just leave the extra person on the reservation in our 2 Bedroom. Hopefully they get a renovated room and he can stay with them.

Wow...glad to see activity at BCV. I've been waiting for this for years! We will be there in May so Im disappointed it won't be done for our trip but at least it's getting the attention it needs very badly!

Was told by a helpful member services rep that the soft goods (additional sleeper) refurb will last till Dec 31st.

Darn, for us solos or parties of 2, that means less storage room. Will there still be drawers anywhere? Not so much under the TV anymore.

I'm hoping for a rehab like the WLV, although I hate the table attached to the Murphy bed, at least they left a dresser. Now they should've just attached a fold out table to the wall by the sliding door. Perfect solution.

I was wondering this too. DH and I will be in one for 7 nights in September. We never stay in a studio. But DD and her husband are taking the master and we did a lock off 2-bedroom. Aren't we nice!?! Had to, other DD and her family (4 kids) get their own 2-bedroom. So to save points we are in a studio. DH (and I) will not be happy if he can not unpack all his clothes.

I also wonder if the bed will move over to center with the foldout bed. This would be similar to the deluxe studio at the Poly. The floor lamp is gone and the couch moves closer to the wall. Then the bed moves over. I would love it if they added a second night stand, like on the Poly's floor plans. But that would mean that the wall scones would either have to be moved or the holes filled and lamps used on the nightstands. Oh, I vote for the lamps with two nightstands. How I would love that! I might even be willing to keep my folded items in a suitcase for that second nightstand.

Why? I don't believe they are getting the pull down bed, just the studios, therefore it will still accommodate 4. SSR & OKW will have the extra foldout single daybed though.

AFAIK, SSR 1 Bedrooms are getting neither a sleep chair nor a pull down bed.

OKW 1 Bedrooms already have a sleep chair to accommodate a 5th person.

It will most likely be the same as BWV. They did not move the bed or add a nightstand. Poly has more square footage, the rooms at BWV and BCV did not get bigger.

What is the other resort that has the sleeper chair then? Is it AKV? I know that there were 2 ?

AKV (except the value category), BLT & OKW have the sleeper chairs in the living room area.
