I LOOOVE the towels! Have I said it lately? You are SO talented!
aw, thanks! if you ever need anything for a trip, let me know! I love making stuff--it's totally my stress outlet and if people like it and get some pleasure from it, even better!
Super cute Minnie swimsuit & pirate outfit. That shirt is PERFECT!
I am loving that shirt! I found it for like $8--what a deal!
They do give you bandana's. They are like half bandana's though..and if you have a big head (like my hubby) they don't fit well!
good to know....I think we have bandanas leftover from when we did the pirate cruise at WDW. I know I can find something in the dress up box. we seem to have quite the accumulation of pirate dress up stuff.....
I can answer your shutters question. What you do is literally just take pictures. They have software recognition and will place your pictures in a portfolio on the ship every night (from that date). Your portfolio number is given to you by a computer in the shutters store. You have several different options of purchasing the photos... either by picture (very expensive) or by package. They have several package types as well- (5, 10, 20 photos). Lastly, you can choose to buy all the photos (either on CD or hard copies). The price is VERY high compared to memory maker/photopass. It varies by cruise length, but regardless is still VERY high. For our 7 day cruise, I think I paid $360 for it. 5 days is around $300. There is no discount (that I know of) by pre-purchasing it early like there is for memory maker. That allows you to decide ON the ship if you really want to dish out the money for the photos that were taken.
There is no way to do a photoshare. They will NOT combined portfolios UNLESS you have linked cabins with immediate family in the other cabin. For instance, you have two cabins with dad holding 2 kids in one & mom holding a kid in another. We were able to combine ours because I bought the package and my oldest daughter was sharing a room with Grandma. Since my daughter was immediate relative, I could combine that cabin. Had it JUST been Grandma- they would not have allowed her pictures on my package. They are super strict about that...
Now, that being said, if you (or your immediate family members) are IN a picture with other people not in your cabin, you could add that picture to your portfolio.
For your phone.. yup- you can still use it. Just make sure to turn OFF roaming features or it will start to roam on the ship & charge you those rate (very, very high rates). Or even just put it on airplane. The cruise has an app that you can use on the boat that tells you times & locations of things (navigator by phone) as well... it's a special way to log in and they will give you instructions. No fees/roaming/wireless required to use it.
