We checked into the grand floridian today and were told we were the family of the day. I thought they were joking. But then the Cm said they upgrades us to concierge in the main building. We said thank you so much! Little did we know that they put us in the GRAND SUITE!!!!!! The place is huge!!! 2200 square feet. I cant get over it and had to share...,

I hope that happens to my son and new daughter in law. I got them a studio in a standard room at the BWV for there honeymoon, it would be great if they get upgraded! We will see in 2 weeks.

This happened to us at Poly in early January. We went from a CL GV to an Ambassador's Suite. It was like winning the Disney lottery! We are still talking about it.

They said they have a 'family of the day' every day so I'm surprised we don't hear about this more often.

Not at all especially when it's Disney vacation. I just went to check my information under my Disney Experience to see if I wanted to change any of my FP for next week and noticed that my reservation now says Tower - Theme Park View instead of Garden View. When I called reservations and asked them about it, I was told that I was given a free upgrade to the Contemporary Tower with a theme park view . I have been to Disney a handful of times, but this is the first time something like this has happened to me. Once I found out I ended up jumping up and down like a little kid at Christmas. I guess it's true when they say when it comes to Disney World our inner kid comes out.

This is also extremely awesome. When you do online checkin. Request a high floor and odd number room.
