Pictures of things No Longer Seen at WDW

I must say that I miss Bill and Sherry.

Bill: Let's do some environmental tests. Put up 2, 5, and 7.

Sherry: Seven?

Bill: Yeah, seven.

Sherry: OK.

Bill: After that, we're gonna subject your vehicle to some extremes in temperature as well as corrosive conditions to see how it handles nature's worst. And finally, we'll take you out for some handling runs.

Sherry: Off road or cornering?

Bill: Let's do the cornering. Um, I'm gonna send you through some hairpin turns and then we'll take you out and do the high speed loops. And depending on how your vehicle and you hold up, ah, we'll even throw a few surprise tests in there.

Sherry: Surprise tests?

Bill: Yeah, pick one.

I MUCH preferred the original TestTrack than what it is today.

Does anyone remember when the actually filmed stuff at Disney-MGM? And your walking tour took you right past working sets? I saw a space capsule set from the following: (Sorry. No photography allowed).

YES. I very distinctly remember seeing the New Mickey Mouse Club set!

I have only been going since 2000 but I remember many of these things. I was lucky enough to get into the "hot seat" 4 times--enough to get a hat for each of my kids and myself, LOL . Best I ever did was losing on the $500,000 question--man that was a heartbreaker. I don't have photos here but we had some awesome meals at the Concourse Steakhouse at the CR. And I am glad we got to "pilot" the monorail before that ended.

After Disney retired the ticket books, and before it converted to the paper tickets that got scanned at the turnstiles, your admission ticket looked like this. Each day upon arrival, the CM would stamp your ticket with that day's date. You would wear the ticket dangling from a string tied to a belt loop.

We still have a couple of the purple CR mugs from 1998. Best insulated mug I've ever used.

That's because they were made from radioactive materials back then. ;)

Before Monsters Inc. Laugh Factory.....before Dreamflight.....before the Timekeeper......there was:

"America The Beautiful" in CircleVision 360

That looks just like the area in the Canadian pavilion, with Martin Short! Think they moved it from MK to Epcot?

Exact same concept and technology. They couldn't have moved it to Epcot because the one in Tomorrowland was up and running simultaneously with the one in the Canada Pavilion.
