If you bring some sort of decanter or plastic jug from home, could you pour coffee into your mug, then pour a few "mugs worth" into the jug to bring back to your hotel room? I'm asking bc me and dh are big coffee drinkers in the morning and would think it was silly to have to spend10 minutes waking back and forth to get 3 cups while getting ready in the morning.
All rooms except for Value Resort rooms have coffee makers with coffee pods provided. So you really don't need to do that if you're staying Mod or above. Value Resort suites have coffee makers too.

Come on!!! Wow!!! Ok well hopefully I can take both of our mugs and fill them twice in under 10 mins. That should actually be all we will need! How interesting!! Does anyone know if coffee creamer is available for free ?

I don't believe coffee is on the timers. It was not as of April. The timers are for the soft drinks. I feel your pain with the walk though, but if you start filling up a pitcher I am betting a CM will come over. You could get one fill and take a cup for some cream to make a second back in the room?

well, this could be a slippery slope. say you have a family who are "big soda drinkers". they don't want to walk the 10 minutes everytime they want another soda by the quiet pool.. why not just take a bigger container and fill up for the afternoon? using the mugs to fill it, of course.

I would think there would also be a big back up in the line if you start having people filling various containers with coffee, tea, soda, etc.

I haven't been since the new rfid. I thought I read that the coffee didn't have it. I Could be very wrong. The creamer always was there in the past. I still wonder what disney is doing about the forever mugs. Maybe one day we will stay in a resort we have them for and find out.

The forever mugs are useless. There was signage stating that the forever mugs were good until the end of that particular mug program. That program ended when RapidFill began.

It doesn't, I was thinking about the POP but for those that want to refill containers constantly I would think it will take awhile as there is a wait period of 2-3 mins before refill plus the CMs do watch the area sometimes.

Can you bring the mugs into the theme parks? What about a large water bottle?

Yes, you can bring the resort refillable mugs into the parks if you want, although you cannot refill them in the parks.

And yes, you can bring water into the parks.

I promise I did search, but could only answers I found in the thread were from 2013.

Seems like a simple silly question, but I am wondering if green is a colour option? My 3year old is obsessed with everything green and believe me I need to start trying to convince him now that he will need to pick another mug colour if it is not an option.

Thanks

Can someone please tell me where refillable mugs can be refilled at Fort Wilderness? We're staying at the campsites in two weeks and I was thinking of bringing my mug back and reactivating it.

Wondering how this will work---we will be at POP Century for 3 nights( room only with AP's) then we will be at Shades of Green for 11 nights. Anyone know if I'll be able to activate our mugs for the 14 days when I purchase them at POP?

yes. disney recognizes "split stays". at Pop show them your reservations for shades of green and tell them you need them activated for "length of stay"

Hi, new to this mug thing. I'm a bit confused on whether I have to pay or it comes free once I get the dining plan? TIA!

Unless something has recently changed, Shades of Green doesn't use Rapidfill since they are not Disney owned. They used to have their own mug system, but not sure of the current cost.

Everyone age 3 and up with any dining plan gets a mug as part of the plan.

Hi, I know that we can not use them at Shades, but we can certainly use them at The POLY, CONTEMPORARY and GRAND!! Shades does have their own mug refill, but it cost a $1.00! Thanks for your help.
