Does anyone out there have any experience with trying to get FP's 30 days in advance for either the Mine Train or Anna & Elsa?? I've never tried. I've gotten both at 60 days, but I'm worried about getting them at 30 days when staying off site... Thoughts?

I have heard of a 30 day out Mine Train but it was like a miracle. It is a unicorn. Anna and Elsa I haven't heard of.

The thing is to always keep checking because if someone cancels or changes times it goes back into the pot for someone else to pick up.

I just looked- at 29 days 2 hours out right now- I can get both AE and mine train. Not good times but they are available.

I am staying on site 1st week of Sept. Have all of my FP+ set. My mom and nephew are joining us some days and I was planning on copying my nephew on to our (already made) FP+ now I am worried I wont be able to... no A&E but Mine Train ..... anyone been able to copy off site guests on for 7DMT at 30 days? Or any off site guests have any experience getting 7DMT at 30 days?

do you have space to add your nephew to your ressie now? (another slot available in your onsite room)

We just went for 4th of July week, and only planned 3 weeks ahead. I managed to get FP+ for the mine train for two different days a couple weeks before we left. I had luck checking my app around midnight or later both times.

We are staying offsite. I pulled fastpass+ exactly 30 days out before 7 AM central starting July 26. The times that were offered were only OK. But once I had the Fastpasses I was able to change the times to pretty much what I wanted. Sat July 19 we have Mine Train at 9:50. Splash @ 10:50. Space @ 11:50.

I could have gotten Frozen most days, but did not need them. So I do not know what times I could have gotten them

I was surprised that the fastpasses I could get were what I wanted for the times I wanted. It is possible I love Fastpass+. Who would have thought

Our first day at Disney was June 20th... I didn't even start trying to reserve FPs until about 2 weeks before. It took a couple of tries, not continual, and I got one for Mine Train. The FP was a good time on the 28th. I had to delete a day in between (they only let you reserve 7 days), but I got one for Mine Train.. I was ok with that.
Then, when we were there at Disney (at our Town home, not on property), at night I'd fiddle with my fps.. changing times, or even parks. We're not great planners and I truly dislike the new system. We have APs and we don't decide which park we want to go to too far in advance (but we did know we were going to MK on the 28th :) ). Days before the reservations I was able to get, not only several more FPs for Mine Train (which we reserved 2 more), but also A&E twice. I reserved A&E just because they were so hard to get. But then let them go because I know my daughter (17 yrs old) nor I were interested in seeing them.

Maybe the reason people can't get the reservations is because they choose other attractions and are trying to "fit" in the Mine Train. I always deleted the whole day, then choose Mine Train and the other two attractions. Whatever time I got Mine Train for, I would move the times of the other attractions around the Mine Train time.
I rarely got more than 2 times for Mine Train. But, one time that we took was for 10:15, the other for 3:30, so good times for us. We just scheduled that day for MK and fit stuff around it. The last time was for 7:10 which was fine for us, but we decided to do another park that day and let it go. Mine train is cute, and kinda fun for the VERY short time it lasts, but we did it twice and it was enough for us. It certainly isn't worth hours of waiting so I'm glad we so easily got the FPs.

So, no it's not a miracle at all. Just start practicing with the system now so you know how to use it. And use a computer, not the mobile apps. A computer makes it so easy to move to the next day (just click the arrow next to the day at the top) and then you can look down the list of the next day to see what's available.

Good Luck, Have fun!

I dont have space unless I switch from CBR to POR. I really want CBR ~we have stayed at both and I am a rare person who prefers CBR. I have considered the option of switching and adding him but really dont want to. I was hoping it would be fairly easy to add him during such a slow week...

Sounds good~ glad to hear people are getting it @30 days or sooner! I have been adjusting and changing our days and FP+ times, so I am experienced with the system...now just waiting with my fingers crossed.

I just returned from a WDW trip and was able to get mines on FP at my 30 day window, I also got 2 FP for A&E just a week before my trip when I realized my hubby wouldn't be riding one of the coasters and he could take my daughter. My advice would be keep checking and although it seems scary even look at changing FP's. I was scared to do it but found I had the opportunity to decide without losing any of my FP's.

We're going a week today and booked 30 days out. I was able to get SDMT on two different days around midday I also tried for A+E just out of curiosity and they were also available just at later times. :-)

I have a question regarding the 30 day window for offsite guests. I'm planning to buy the tickets online but I'm not sure how far in advanced can I buy them. How does the system knows when my 30 day window starts?. Do you get asked your first day of visit when linking the ticket to MDE?.

I wanted to buy the tickets two months in advanced but I'm not sure if this is possible and I need to buy them 30 days before my trip so I can use FP+ :confused3

Thank you!

It doesn't know your specific 30 days. Once you buy your tickets you can always book at a rolling 30 days so it just happenes that on your 30th day from vacation you can book day 1, 29 days you can book day 2, 28 days day 3 and so on and so forth.

I stayed off site and I got FP+ for 7 dwarfs mine train 30 days out,11 days after it opened, not that it was any use as the ride broken down pretty much every hour! Our fast pass was for 11am I think we finally got on it about 6.30pm!!
Hope they've ironed out the bugs now :)

I was eligible to get both 30 days out but nothing in the morning. So the plan to get a 4th FP is pretty limited.

Thank you so much, it's much clearer now :). After 30 days, they become available one by one. Do you know if tickets have expiration day?

Most tickets expire 14 days after you first use them at the parks unless you buy the non-expire option which doesn't make much sense unless you are a Florida resident because it almost doubles the cost of the tickets.

Oooh ok, then I guess I'm safe by buying them two monhs before I travel if I'm not using them. Thank you so much again! :flower3:
