Epcot: Spaceship earth you go a different way. You load from the exit area.

DHS: Toy Story you actually load a different way but I believe if you use FP your wait will be significantly shorter than if you just use the wheelchair return ticket.

MK Day 2: Same as my TS answer. You load a different way at Big Thunder Mountain, Splash, and I believe even Haunted Mansion but your wait times will be significantly less using a FP than the wheelchair return ticket.

Toy Story only splits off where the steps are so FP+ is needed. Thunder Mountain you go to exit and get return time. Haunted Mansion you either have a FP+ and skip the cemetery or you don't and go thru it, there is no other entrance.

When Disney changed to DAS, I believe they also implemented "wheelchair return times" for rides such as JC and BTMR which don't have accessible queues. If you don't have a FP+, you'll go to the regular ride entrance and receive a ticket with a return time that is similar to the standby wait.

You are correct. I did assume the OP knew this based on what he was asking about. That was why I said FP would make the wait time shorter but if you are trying to use the system to the full potential you could book FP for rides that do not have alternate entrance and then go get a return time for those that do. That way why you are waiting for your return time for one ride you can be riding another with your FP+

So, some mild confusion on my part.

We have 2 sons in 2 wheelchairs. I do not believe we will qualify for a DAS card as they really only need wheelchair access. So, for example, to use the disabled access at Peter Pan, we need to go to the regular FP line, and the CM will give us a return time on a slip of paper that we will use to go to the disabled entrance at the time on the slip of paper. In the meantime, if I have a FP+ for SDMT, I can use that while I am waiting for the return time on my slip of paper from Peter Pan?

I just don't want to have to go running all over the park from one section to the other with slips of paper and FP+ just trying to fit it all in. This just seems like way too much planning to me.

Yes, you got it.

Seems similar to what we did at Universal in January. Got a return time on paper for the minion ride and walked across the street and did the Shrek ride while waiting.
